I have always dreamt of an espionage-type AC game. Sort of like the new 007 game that came out or even watchdogs. The idea of the Assassin Brotherhood infiltrating high society parties in a blacksuit and hidden blade is just such a cool concept to me. And instead of bows or blowpipes we could use silenced pistols, throwing knives (maybe even hacks?) as ranged tools. This could be the modern AC game the community has been asking for. Anyone like this idea or do you have anything to add? Interested in seeing others opinions :)

As the title already mentions: having an option to hide the blowpipe on Edward‘s back would literally be one of the last things I personally need from this remake. Everything else looks very impressive so far. But Edward looks so clustered with the blowpipe on..please Ubisoft let us hide/remove the blowpipe 😭 Hope I am not the only one on this.

The majority of the AC community has been very vocal about how much they are disappointed that AC Blackflag resynced won‘t have the hidden blade combat. Since we aren’t getting the combat, I thought why not keep atleast one thing? This may sound stupid to many, but one thing I absolutely loved was deploying/extending the blades whilst pressing the attack button when just walking around. Maybe you could add that on top of the Hood toggle featue? Like a little „Emote Wheel“ like we had in valhalla, where you could choose to toggle hood and other stuff. It‘s just a little detail, but I personally enjoyed it and I think it would be sick to have that in resynced, since we haven‘t had a feature like that since in like forever. It isn‘t groundbreaking or anything just something fun and it would go along with the hood toggle really well. Anyone agree?

In the few clips that Ubisoft has shown us, I have noticed a thing that HEAVILY bothers me. It‘s the assassination animations - they are the same as the ones used in AC Valhalla and they don‘t fit Edward at all, in my opinion. Valhalla had some good animations - but recycling them for 2 games is a bit much now. They already looked too heavy for Basim and the same goes for Edward now. Sure, Edward is a pirate after all, they are brutal and all but he is also agile and very skilled with the hidden blades. So giving Edward the animations, that are originally meant for a heavy viking, who has maybe a little skill with the blade, doesn’t seem right to me.

I know making new animations now is a challenge. This could be a fix for future updates maybe. I just hope Ubisoft considers this. Maybe replace the valhalla animations with the ones from unity/syndicate, since these games have the most beloved stealth kill/assassination animations. Some would fit Edward really well.

My idea would be: Keep the assassination animations from the Original Blackflag and add some from Unity/Syndicate.

Does anyone agree? It might be a hot take but I am interested in your opinions on this! :)

One thing I’ve always enjoyed in Assassin’s Creed is clearing out forts or restricted areas purely through stealth. It really makes you feel like an actual assassin.

With the Black Flag remake/resynced adding things like crouching and better stealth mechanics, I think it would be a missed opportunity if there weren’t more places designed around stealth. So forts would be the perfect way to use those new mechanics.

Black Flag already has tons of islands, so it would be cool if some of them had larger enemy camps or forts that you can approach and clear however you want—especially in stealth. Not just small outposts, but proper infiltration areas. That way, we can actually feel like an assassin/pirate - which is the whole point of Edward.

Something similar to how newer AC games (like Shadows) handle enemy zones, where you can just walk in and start picking enemies off one by one, would fit really well here. What do you guys think? Any thoughts?
