My back tire was starting to go bald, so I just switched it out with an old one my dad had and the tube it had. Both the tube and tire were sitting fine on the old rim but once i fit it onto mine, it pop, and then I buy a new one, which pops only minutes after i put it on. Ive repaird and replaced tubes before and never had this issue. Is it possible that the old tire is the issue?

I make a trip to the grocery store and everything seems fine, when I come back from the store, my car won’t start. All electrical components work fine and jump start didn’t work. When I turn the key it makes the noise once and then stops. I haven’t tried knocking the starter yet but I think that may be the problem. Are there any other ideas of what it can be? Also my terminals do look a little ugly/dirty but I’m not sure if that would cause this problem.
