First trip with wife

We're gonna bike from Resia Lake (you might have seen a pic somewhere, there's a Bell tower in the middle of the lake), and we're gonna travel until Verona.

It's only 260km, around 60km per day.

First trip. Any advice? Should I bring tires? It's a well serviced bikeway,, and our bikes are quite new and well kept.

^(My wife drives a Legnano, I'm on a Kathmandu Pro)

S2 E23 almost made me quit Frasier

I used to watch Frasier in my early twenties (and felt like an old, sophisticated soul compared to my peers). Now, 20 years later, I'm rewatching it. I'm as old as Frasier was then, and I relate to him on many levels once again. A few of my favorite characters have shifted, though—I can’t stop appreciating Bulldog, Roz, and Martin. Incredible characters. I’ve also learned about the struggles Kelsey Grammer went through with his personal habits while filming the first few seasons.

Then I got to S2E23.

A bit of PTSD kicked in: even 20 years ago, I couldn't believe what was happening. It's a horrible episode. To this day, I still hoped it would end with a sweaty Frasier waking up from a fever dream with Eddie staring at him. But no, they just left it there.

I went online looking for a consensus, but it's actually a highly-rated episode with an 8.9 rating!

It's definitely going to be on my skip list during my next rewatch. Please tell me someone else feels that the slapstick style they adopted was totally out of character, and that no one deserved that episode!

Note: I've used a system to help me with my bad English writing, but my opinion is real!

My first brand new bike

Finally I got myself a brand new 'right size for me' bike.

It's a Cube Kathmandu Pro. First ride today, a quick 25km to fit myself into it. I only noticed some nerve pressure on my right hand, I'll try to understand tomorrow if it's a real thing or not.

Do you guys like my new bike?

Is 13km a sustainable commute distance?

I'm not particularly fit, but I have been cycling since April and I usually make around 500km per month. I'd love to bike to work but I'm afraid is gonna wear me out.

Do you have any experience you'd like to share?

Cube Travel GTS SL size 58 fitting problems

I've got my hands on a used CUBE size 58. I'm 193 and I thought that would fit me. It doesn't, really. I'm now kinda stuck with this beautiful and technically speaking wonderful piece of engineering but... I feel my hands are loaded and it's not a position I can hold for longer than one hour. I feel like a bear on a tricycle. I'm extremely outta shape. I restarted cycling with my father's Legnano 2/3 months ago, a humble city bike and.. I started losing weight. I was 131kg, now I'm 123. I went and made myself a gift, but... I don't feel comfortable with it. Is it the size? I have a 58. I bought a riser but it's not really making a difference. It's just that I have to get used to the position and maybe fitter?

The Legnano was a damn armchair compared to this German stool! Please advise
