need advice on replacing front CV Axles. I've got both new axles in, they wentin fine except for just the last 8th of an inch. they wont budge after that. I cant find any help online if this is the fully seated position or if they need to go in more. pics attached.
Hello everyone, just starting researching another persons family tree, which pretty much goes back 200 years in and around Granby QC Canada.
My research so far has been solely based off of the census data, I have not found really any other records at all for Quebec. Ethnicity is all listed as either Canadian or English and Irish, they are not french Canadian. Once I get back to 1881, 1871, 1861 census I have many older peoples places of birth being the United States. seems they generally immigrated in the 1820s or 1830s or earlier.
unfortunately census data for the area is lost for 1851, and there is very little to go off of from the 1842 census and earlier. wondering if anyone has any ideas for alternative research methods, other than census data to try track them. This is my first time trying to research in Quebec.
