Bosch e-bike motors are actually incredible.

That's how many kilometres I have put on my Gen 3 Performance Line motor, which is now about to be put out to pasture, after 4 years and a hard life, all bearings finally appear close to failure. I shall be ordering a new one asap, they are legit amazing. I am a courier in a very hilly Irish city, with extremely brutal winters, the worst possible conditions for an e-bike, and yet this thing has seen me through 4 years, rain, hail or shine. I am truly amazed, and so is the main mechanic in my local bike shop. He took a photo of my odometer when it was at 50,000km to prove to other people that the mileage is actually possible. He couldn't believe it. He told me a while ago to post about it on the Bosch Insta but I don't use it, so here I am on Reddit to gush about what incredible pieces of engineering these things are. If you are a courier or long hours rider, just get a Bosch equipped e-bike. Ridiculously well built.
Edit: Someone asked me to add that I'm still on original battery, which I'd estimate to have lost about 20% of capacity in the 4 years.
