Hey good morning I hope you’re all doing well and enjoying the summer.

I sat and thought about making a post like this for awhile now and finally said what the heck, what’s the worst could happen?

So folks what I’m looking for is anyone who would like to meet for coffee a few times a week or even once and bring a book/e-reader to just have some conversation, coffee and enjoy reading. I’m a female in my early forties who’s a mom of a teenager now so I’ve got a bit more time to do something for me. I have made one lovely friend off here so once in awhile when he’s got the time he will join me. We don’t have to make this expensive as I’m fine with Tim Hortons as an option since my recent outings have been up to $7 for a coffee, which isn’t very affordable if I want to meet more than once a week.

Hey all I’m 42F with a son who’s going be going to high school this September.

Now I’ve always been a single mom and he’s my only son. In 2023 I survived a stemi heart attack and have 1 stent. During that time I was allowed to have my son visit me so I hadn’t seen him for 5 days. That was the longest I had been away from him for.

Now fast forward to today. My so. Just left with my dad to go on a 9 day trip to the next province. And I haven’t slept well for 5 days. I threw up the last 2 mornings and I had a panic attack last night and I am having one now because he just left.

I am not sure how things will go or how I am going to cope. I want him to go and enjoy other things and time that doesn’t always involve me because we are always together. And I know this will be good for him. How do any of you cope if you’ve been where I am? I feel like this is stupid of me because he’s with a safe person but I can’t stop overthinking.

So I am in Canada and currently have a Kindle basic in black. I want to get a Kobo because I can’t borrow library books and I would love to be able to do that.

I’m torn between the Kobo Clara Color or the Kobo BW, and they’re both $199.99 CAD. Also should I get it in white or black?

Hey all exactly as the title says :)

Wondering if anyone plays WoW? I’ve been playing since 2020 but kinda a lot less the last 2 years. I want to get back to playing casually as a few others I played with in the past really made it fun but very competitive at the same time. So I’m looking for people who want to get on and just explore and do the storyline/side missions.
