You might want to Allow time every day to be bored. Sit or lie down for a period of time with no distractions. Don’t necessarily watch your thoughts, let them soar and allow your complete focus to go on your thoughts if that’s what happens .Sitting quietly with one’s thoughts is a lost art and skill. Feel the discomfort of the boredom and let it flourish.The boredom may give rise to creativity and will definitely give your nervous system a break from the constant stimulation of the modern world. It may prepare your nervous system for a more formal meditation practice in the future or give you what you’re looking for from meditation right now.
A few times a week before I go to bed, I like to get high and lay down in my recliner in a dark room. I don’t meditate or do any breath work I don’t listen to any music. I don’t even have any intention. I let my thoughts go where they wanna go. Sometimes it’s pure fantasy, sometimes the mind sorts what needs sorting. Whatever comes. Creating this space really helps me let go of the day and find where I’m resisting. It helps me open up that resistance into acceptance. This has been a very effective therapy for me. Sitting with one’s own thoughts is a lost art, and skill. Cannabis has been a great teacher, bringing this back into my life.
I’ve always used psilocybin with great reverence and appreciation. Every one of my trips I have had seemed to be similar to other peoples except for one. It was a couple hours in and I was drawn to turn on the TV and watch a comedy show called Tosh.0. I was watching it for about 10 minutes and belly laughing so hard. I thought my brain was gonna split. All of a sudden, one of the skits involved, a person holding a giant lizard. Once I saw the lizard time froze and the reptilian race communicated with me. They turned a dial and I turned into static and then they turned me back on. It was the most terrifying experience that I’ve ever had and trust me I’ve had a lot of terrifying experiences. I’ve never been interested in the reptilian race, and I still am not interested in the reptilian race. The only sense I can make out of this is that it was another way for me to surrender. The Reptilians were basically showing me that they were in control of everything that I did and so I might as well let go and trust the universe. I did get a sense that there was something else that was controlling the Reptilians in the same way that the reptilian thought that they were controlling us. I know all this sounds completely crazy and I’ve never heard of anyone having a similar experience but I thought I would post this just in case someone has
I can’t tell you how many people I’ve talked to over the years who are blessed enough enough to live on a property with a well and haven’t spent the money or time to install a hand pump. I know prepping is overwhelming but this is a must. Dehydration and waterborne illness will take out the majority of the population if shit goes down and you are one of the very few that have a easy/affordable/safe way to get clean water without leaving your property. If the grid goes down, you will not have access to this water. It’s typically less than a grand to have installed, if you need to borrow the money then borrow the money.
I have the xhdata 808 and I can’t even get am radio stations. Fm works fine but when I push the am bw button it switches to auto or mono but never finds a station. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
Depending on where your house sits elevation wise in relation to the other houses on your street, your sewage can start backing up within a few days after the grid goes down. If you haven’t experienced living in a house where the sewage backed up, let me tell you it’s awful. The best solution is a pipe plug, however, most people will not take the initiative to buy one ahead of time or know how to correctly install it. What are some ideas to stop the sewage from backing up if you don’t have a pipe plug ?
