From around 5k steps most days to a whopping 19 steps today. And this was with my knee scooter hahaha. Come on ankle, heal so we can walk again ❤️🩹🙏

I’ve been so very fortunate to be able to attend the 11:11 and Breezy Bowl concerts.
I am unable to attend the up coming LA Sept R&B show - due to being unable to make the 13 hr flight and high risk of blood clots.
🚨 Honest Opinion needed:
For those who have been to a show this far, and given I’ve been to 11:11 and Breezy Bowl, is it worth it me rescheduling and trying to make a November LA show? It would be 14 weeks recovery time vs 6 weeks…so unsure how this changes my blot clot risk lol!
Or is the setlist etc pretty much the same as breezy bowl? (Obvs missing Usher is a bit of a bummer but I’m really a CB fan)

I fractured my ankle on 7th August 😭
I’m supposed to be flying from Australia to LA (13 hour flight) on 22nd September. But could delay it to 6th October to attend an event I had planned to go to!
My dr mentioned a risk of blood clots. I’m also on the pill.
Was just after some thoughts/opinions on this and any tips you had for recovering from this?
It’s my first broken bone! 🙏😭🤞
I haven’t been walking / weight bearing, I’ve been moving around the house on a knee scooter and doing regular alphabet exercises. Will be in a moon boot for total of 6 weeks.
The CT scan confirmed the following:
“Undisplaced oblique
fracture through the lateral malleolus below the syndesmosis. No medial malleolar or posterior tibial
fracture is seen. No talar dome or calcaneal fracture identified.
Moderate-sized ankle joint effusion tracking into the anterolateral recess. Achilles tendinosis. No
discrete tear is seen.
CONCLUSION:
Weber A distal fibular fracture.”

Hi 👋 I bought a new KitchenAid 4 slice toaster. Are both the sides of the heating lamps supposed to be on? When I popped in my crumpet, only one side was red/heating up. The other side was not. I just wanted to ask those with the same toaster if this is normal? Unsure if mine is faulty. Thanks!! 🙏
