58 megasloths?!?!?

58 megasloths?!?!?

when it originally popped up i was debating cause it would have been lotsssss of food but i let the quest expire cause i didn't really have any faith in completing it without my colonists get really injured or dying. my colonists have no armor and i have no security around my base so.

the 96 advanced components really tempted me

would you guys have taken it?

what should i learn to increase my chances of internship/job?

since the CS industry has changed due to an increase of ppl + introduction to AI, i want to improve my programming so i can maybe guarantee that i can get a job/internship.

i’m about to be a junior in college and i’ve done classes with HTML, CSS, JS, and python. even assembly language. in my free time i’ve learned the syntax for the C languages, and SQL

currently for the summer i’ve been working on projects. i built a todo list using HTML,and JS. currently i’m building a password generator using python and tkinter. afterwards i plan on making a pdf to audio converter.

with AI now, i assume that jobs are looking for more complex project/applicants and i assume that todo lists or projects with the same complexity aren’t enough

so my questions is what projects/languages/frameworks should i start on that would potentially get me to stand out? or that can help? thanks for the help!

i also plan on taking classes on Ai as well.

early signs of psychosis or just health anxiety?

Hello! I am 19F. I don't have any diagnoses other than anemia(if its relevant). i would say i have depression(not diagnosed) but somewhat minimal(just having no energy, nothing to look forward too kinda stuff) i also don't have any anxiety, just maybe minimal health anxiety for this content. i take iron, vitamin d, vitamin c, and vitamin b12. i do smoke weed(carts mainly) but currently on a break until summer break. i smoke weed on moderation(mon-thurs: no weed, fri-sun: allowed after work) there have been moments where id smoke for 3 weeks as well.

so i did some research about psychosis and i guess now its kinda affecting my thoughts(not in a serious way) but sometimes ill just be thinking "what if someone's in my closet" or something. it doesn't actually scare me or worry me but i guess it worries me more that i could believe it if i continue questioning it? i dont have any hallucinations or anything or feel weird physically. when i learn about other ppls experience i do start applying it to me. ex: i read that someone thought their sibling was a fbi agent so then i started being like "hmm what if my sibling is an agent too" its not really paranoia but more random questioning i guess? even though i know its not true. ive never actually believed/been convinced of anything while sober. i also dont have these thoughts 24/7… if im focused on something then im fine but then sometimes my brain will bring the thoughts back.

the reason why i decided taking the break was because 2 weeks ago i got a new roommate and the WIFI went down. i guess my brain went through the different possibilities and for a couple seconds i was like "what if my new roommate was hacking into my devices". i felt my heart rate go up a bit so i was able to calm myself down. maybe 2-3 months ago my old roommate had some like non epileptical seizure while high on edibles cause she thought someone was out to kill her and so i think that made be realize the possibilities and stuff. i do believe she had anxiety as well so that was most likely a big factor as well

i did use chatgpt to see but obviously i wanted a professional opinion. it did say that it just me having some health anxiety and just normal weed paranoia. i've seen that having deep trauma is a big factor and i don't have any.

my questions would be: is this just simple paranoia or maybe early symptoms? is it ok to continue in moderation? thank you for any help! i really would like any help possible

tried to do leetcode and instead i almost cried

hello! i'm a college student currently a sophomore enrolled in CS with focus in game dev and AI. i have pretty beginner knowledge of coding. i learned HTML,CSS, JS, Java, python, SQL and all 3 c languages. mainly through freecodecamp and sololearn which i guess might be a problem too

i really enjoy coding and am wanting to really level up especially now since AI is now heavily integrated. I was doing leetcode a couple of days ago and only got through problem #1 and was struggling to do other ones. i started tearing up because I felt like i knew nothing. i also did beginner edabit problems until my free trial ended.

most project sites ive seen seem pretty advanced(i think). i tried to make a todo website with HTML and JS but didn't even know where to start. i even followed tutorials for tic tac toe on JS and react

i know threads like this already exist but i feel lost on how to actually build my skills and i dont really know where to actually start. what are ways for me to truly know how to code? is following tutorials actually helpful? are there any other free sites like edabit? maybe some really beginner project ideas?

i was also debating on just using Ai to solve the leetcode problems and have it thoroughly explain the solution to me.

thank you for any help.
