Now that I’m 54, I am aging at the speed of light. I’m really truly getting permanent wrinkles. I have a very asymmetrical face. My eyes are different sizes. My eyebrows are different heights and different shapes. I have been inspecting my face more often lately because of my lovely fungal acne outbreak, and I realized that only half of my forehead is getting wrinkly; not the other half. I have that wonderful ability to arch one eyebrow ( very handy as a middle school teacher)and the wrinkly part is the arched eyebrow 1/2 of my face. I think I need to slap a bit extra tret on that 1/2. 😃

I have spent the weekend replacing products with ones that are fungal acne safe. To my surprise, my Tretinoin did not pass the test. I am a bit stumped. I have temporarily stopped Tret while I treat my face with Ketoconazole and Desonide. I am hoping there is an alternative formulation I can use.

Amazingly, the difference in these two sets of pictures is 25 pounds. I am a very slow responder. Purple shirt is March 2026. Black Shirt is September 2026. Still fat, but noticeably less so.

I took a break from Tret for 4 days. I traveled to Tucson and knew I would spend a lot of time out in the sun. These wrinkles were not there Friday. I am hoping dehydration is playing a part. I am losing weight but I have managed to keep the Turkey neck at bay with Tret and Amlactin. Both of which did not go on this trip. I am referring to the vertical ones in the middle.

I can’t remember who on this sub wanted to see my crazy upside down vial duct taped to my fridge. My hands are small and clumsy this tiny thing is wobbly on my hands. Additionally, no matter what I do, I have a really hard time drawing out the liquid from these skinny BPI Vials. I do all the tricks that I have been taught and nothing works. I definitely need both hands for the syringe. Yes, I sanitize the fridge.

The bpure dry shampoo better rock my world. They were 3$ each!! The audacity!

The other day I saw a TikTok, where this young girl was raving about this coconut spray. Said it was the best coconut spray ever, and that her boyfriend thought it was the best smelling spray. Today, I was at Dollar tree, and I came across the spray and I sprayed it to see what it smelled like. It smells just like the Coppertone sunscreen from the 70s and the 80s before they reformulated and took out that wonderful coconut smell. Obviously, this young girl has never lived that wonderful smell from the 70s so she had no clue that’s what it smelled like. I turned to the lady that was next to me and I said, “oh my gosh this smells just like Coppertone!, how nostalgic” and she agreed. Then she said to me, “you look too young to know what Coppertone used to smell like”…but as I was walking away, she says “oh, I see some gray hair on your head, I take it back. You are old enough to remember coppertone!! “ LOL.

The DT by me are slim pickings! But I found a few things. I have been looking for this facial scrub for months. I did not like the Koke lip stain. A bit orange and quite dry. Barely any pigment came out. Looking forward to trying the blushes.

It came freezing cold in this Florida heat. The vials are tiny! I need to be so careful with them. I have a proper stash now. Zepbound leftovers (5 weeks combo of 10/12.5 and 3 weeks combo of 2.5/5/7.5)and 3.5 month of compound. I ordered on the 9th.

It was world’s better packaged than the Altrx one I got 2 weeks ago. Each vial was protected with cotton. It came in a cooler with 2 ice packs. The Altrx one came in a cushy envelope with one ice pack and no protection on the vial.

I am crazy putting this awful picture online but I am looking for advice. I am in my mid 50s and have yet been able establish an anti aging routine because my face is very sensitive. I have recently added Matrixil to my morning routine. The picture shows the products in order of use from back to front. At night, I use tretinoin only with the same moisturizer but the pm version. I have oily skin. Some moisturizers are too much. My face doesn’t absorb them. I wait a few minutes between each application. As you can see my rosacea is in full bloom which is the opposite of what I am trying to achieve by using Tret.

I did hear about Illiyoon/sp? It is on my list to try as my next moisturizer if the Cerave doesn’t work.
