I would really appreciate any input on my CV. Targeting industry in Switzerland.

Hello people,

I would wholeheartedly appreciate any input you'd have on my resume, targeting biotech and pharmaceutical companies (big or small) in Switzerland.

I graduated form my master's 1.5 years ago, and faced many real-life challenges since then that really hindered me looking for a job. Now I'm back on my feet and want to start sending applications as strong as I can do. Of course I will change things based on the job ad, but this is the framework that I'm going to start with.

Any input is heavily appreciated on the content, formatting, visuals, etc.. Critique me to death, if you will.

Let me know if you need any extra info, and thank you so much in advance.

Got a Nikon D2X from a friend. What am I working with? (Newbie)

Hi Dear Nikon Community,

TLDR; I recently got this very healthy-looking Nikon D2X along with the lens in the picture (18-200?), and was wondering where this model of camera currently stands.

For my background, I am more or less familiar with the foundations of photography, but the closest thing I had to a real camera was a Canon EOS550d in my teen years. Even back then, I remember how vastly different my photography experience was compared to double or single digit Canon cameras, and I guess it was the same with Nikon.

I never laid hands on any other camera until I got this from my partner, who had it sitting in their attic for the last 5-6 years. Camera seems to be in a great condition, although the battery was completely lost and had to get a new (other brand) battery that seems to be working perfectly for now.

I just finished reading through the manual and my mind is blown by the amount of control you have on the camera and some of the options, like bracketing!

So, my main question is, where does this camera stand nowadays, as it was released about 20 years ago! I do not aim to use it professionally at the moment, but mainly to quench my artistic thirst for photography. However, if I do intend to take more photos, is it worth it in the future to get lenses for this chunky boy? Also, I noticed that my photos generally seem a bit out of focus compared to my expectation. Is it purely a skill issue?

Would love to hear your stories, insight, suggestions, or experiences with this camera + lens, and how you think it compares to modern times.

Is this bedbug in bed lining?

Would love your input. I don’t see any adults that are easily recognizable. Are these bedbugs?

This beautiful beast flew in just now. Thankfully it left without much hassle.

I saw recently that someone had a monstrous wasp get in their house. Although this was monstrous in my opinion and scared the shit out of me before leaving by itself, I wonder if this is the same kind. Do you know this guy? Are they harmful to us/environment? Size about my pinkie.
