Question For TOG fans...
Does anyone else feel that keeping certain characters alive would have been as meaningful if not moreso than just killing them off?
People I would have wanted more of a continued story on:
Erawan
Gavriel
Arobynn

What do ya'll think???
Soooo.... a few things, besides the series being the most beautiful of books I have ever read and may ever read, I got some complaints and questions
What about ya'll? Thoughts? Feelings?
So I am reading Kingdom of Ash right now, and I just finished reading the part where Dorian offers Maeve a chance to ally with him...... WHAT?!?!?!? I feel sooo betrayed right now...... WHAT ABOUT MANON????? Sorry but my HEART hurts now.....
I don't even know what to say....
Just expressing my feelings as I read, cause damn....
Also, I don't understand why Maeve felt she had to torture Aelin when she could have just told her they were working for the same end goal....
So I'm about 100 pages away from finishing Tower of Dawn right now, and as you know most of the book is about Chaol and his healer.... You will either disagree or agree with me but I find Yrene's and Chaol's relationship to be absolutely annoying. IT literally hurt my heart when WHILE he was still with NESRYN, he would notice things like how big Yrene's tits were, how curvy her body was, while he never so much as looked at Nesryn to be beautiful. After her risking her life out in RIftold with him, fighting Valg, allying with Aelin, protecting people and their crew.... he still treated her as if she was nothing more than a rebound.
Satarq literally saves this book for me. Thank goodness.
I just wanted to know if anybody else was irked by Chaol and Yrene.
I've only just finished Empire of Storms as of today, so please don't reveal anything that comes after. But I wanted to ask this question because his character is one of the most mysterious to me. He never outright declared his love for her in all the years he trained her. As Celeana said he never declared whether he was to be looked at as a father, brother, or lover. But Why did he care enough to want to kill her lovers? Was buying Lesandra's virginity and services his way of getting back at Celeana for wanting to leave him? Because when it came to the two girls, he usually used one to have the other pining for his attention and approval. Also, when he put the ring on her in wishes to control her, why did he want her to say she loved him? Did he not realize that if he wanted her, he could have had her when she was still working for him? All Celeana ever wanted to hear from him was that he loved her but those words never came.
Was it because he was that insecure, that because he never believed she could ever love him, that he was desperate to keep her after the first sign of her being interested in someone else?
If this theory is true, I wonder why he didn't try as hard to get her out of Endovier.....the book says he lost interest in saving her after a month.....
What do ya'll think?
