What am I missing.....IF any spawn they are sub level 20, they only spawn maybe 2 at a time if at all. I've spent hours clearing out the islands I've seen them on. I've done many dino wipes. What gives here. I have override difficulty set to 5 so I see 100+ leveled literally everything but Deinotherium.......would it be a heinous cheat to just spawn one in lmao
I'm just trying to put railings down.....this is on land, not built out or anything that would require support....I've adjusted setting for platform build boundaries and still getting this message
Decided to start taming and mutating pets and have a few questions. I have access to everything but skinks and volatile mutations atm. I can't decide which I like more for general exploration and combat - leyak pest or teraccary
Which is one do y'all suggest as my sidekick and when should I swap them around?
Is there a "best food" to feed them for leveling? I really think it's a minor misstep that they only level through feeding.
Is there some hidden settings I've missed that can increase/decrease the speed at which they become hungry? Seems like a weird bottle neck of sorts that I can see becoming kind of a problem when facing higher threat enemies with a fresh tame/mutation.
Is there a way to have 2 pets following you at a time? This way I don't have to choose which pet I want as my goodest friend!
I'm sure I have more questions, so if there are any pointers anyone wants to toss my way feel free please and thanks!

Recently me and my sons started playing recently (currently moving into labs) so not very deep into the game at all yet. However we are already feeling burn out towards the game. There is just so much to this game, and don't get me wrong I think it's brilliant, there are things that are just frustrating like small inventory space and just A LOT of materials that need to be gathered that the 4 of us can't make it through an entire section without multiple trips back to base (we have established a fairly large base in the offices and are basically unwilling to move everything to a new location due to the tedium of it)
Should we set up more bases? Will there be faster ways to get back and forth between our established camps? How do we manage the small inventory (currently using military pack)? Help us not get burnt out before we even see the first boss.
EDIT: well turns out I'm just stupid, none of us realized we could teleport platform cart back to the offices, this will be tremendously helpful
I really like the world here, I like the characters and enemies and would like to see this world in a grand scale.
Am I alone in saying if they announced an RPG set in this world I would not only break my rule of never pre ordering but would pay AAA dollars for it.
I'm talking full-fledged, not roguelike, rpg featuring all the survivors/crawlers.
All the lockers and boxes with the lock symbol that apparently have no way to open them. This makes my compulsion to open every container attack my nervous system lol.
