Diagnosed as type 2 diabetes 6 weeks ago, no symptoms at all , picked up by blood tests for other conditions. My doctor referred me to the NHS for the 12 weeks “ soups and shakes diet “ . Starting weight was 182 lbs now at151 pounds. Blood pressure already low enough to stop my daily medication. BMI is down from 34 to 26 . I have been lucky to not have had any hunger pangs, but I do miss real food. Determined to get the next 6 weeks in and start to introduce low carb and low sugar meals. ( need to buy new clothes in a smaller size already)
