I emailed sub services in august and have followed up with them multiple times now after getting one response back when I emailed the first time. When or will I ever get an email back from them? I emailed about a pay change since I now have my PEL and qualify for the increase in pay.
my dad and my mom have been separated since i (f23) was 11 and divorced since i was 12. my mom remarried about a year after and my dad started dating my stepmom when i was 13. they got married when i was 17 (senior year of hs) and she's been in my life for almost 10 years. i'm really close with my stepsisters and i love them a lot. i didn't really get along with my stepmom until i left for college but her and i get along really well now and I'm sad for them. i live far from my family in another state and don't see them very much (mostly on major holidays or when i have events my partner and i go home for since we're from the same area). i got a text from my dad saying that they were "parting ways" and that my stepmom was going to be moved out of the house by the weekend (i got the text on a tuesday) and that no one else in my family knows yet. i really have no idea how to support my dad while still processing my personal feelings. i was young and knew my parents weren't happy together when they got divorced but there is nothing that i saw or heard that would've prompted me to guess this would happen. i haven't seen my stepmom/sisters since our family trip in march. i don't want to lose the relationships that i have with my sisters but i don't have any idea what to do right now and i don't want to make any of this about me but i'm struggling to process this while still trying to figure out how to support my dad.
tldr: my dad and stepmom are divorcing after 10 years together and idk what to do and am having trouble processing my feelings while wanting to support my dad.
Just wanted to see how long after the bell you will wait to mark a student tardy. I, personally, am pretty strict about marking them tardy even if it is a few minutes after the bell if they don't have a pass from another teacher. Especially if they come in and put their stuff down and then leave and come back after the bell has already run for class to start.
I have had students argue with me about how they're only a few minutes late and a lot of the students in the schools I am at don't seem to realize that 3 tardies in a day add up to a 1/2 day absence. I learned that piece of information after I had counselors doing a presentation for class schedules for next year.
