INTJ here — how do you actually pursue an ENFP without overwhelming or boring them?

INTJ here.

Recently met an ENFP girl and honestly she completely caught me off guard.

She’s the kind of person who can walk into a room and instantly make everything feel lighter. Super expressive, spontaneous, emotionally open… basically the complete opposite of me 😅

The weird thing is that around her, I feel more relaxed and more “myself” than I usually do around people.

But as an INTJ, I genuinely have no idea how to approach someone like this romantically.

Part of me wants to move carefully and not come on too strong. Another part of me worries that if I move too slowly, she’ll just lose interest and disappear into the universe somewhere 😂

So I’m curious from ENFP perspectives:

What actually makes you emotionally interested in someone?

And when someone likes you, what kind of approach feels natural and attractive instead of forced?

Any other INTJs feel unusually understood around ENFPs?

INTJ here.

Recently met an ENFP girl and the experience has honestly been strange in a good way.

Normally I spend a lot of time in my own head and keep a pretty controlled emotional distance from people. But around her, conversations somehow feel effortless. I feel more relaxed, more expressive, and weirdly more “myself” than usual.

At the same time, ENFP energy also feels a little chaotic and unpredictable to me 😅

I know people online constantly talk about the “INTJ x ENFP” dynamic, but I’m curious how it actually feels from other INTJs’ perspectives in real life.

For INTJs who’ve been close to ENFPs:
Did you ever feel unusually understood or emotionally opened up around them?

And did it actually work long term, or was it just initial chemistry?

how do ENFPs usually act when they genuinely like someone?

INTJ here.

Recently met an ENFP girl and honestly I’m kinda fascinated by her energy.

She’s warm, spontaneous, emotionally expressive, and somehow makes every interaction feel effortless. As an INTJ, I’m usually pretty reserved and stuck in my own head, so being around someone like that feels very different for me.

The confusing part is… I genuinely can’t tell if she’s interested in me specifically, or if she’s just naturally like this with everyone 😅

I know people talk a lot about the “INTJ x ENFP” dynamic online, but I’m curious how ENFPs actually see it in real life.

And what usually makes you lose interest?

I’m an INTJ and I’ve been seeing this idea everywhere that INTJ x ENFP is a “perfect match.”

What makes it interesting for me is that I actually dated someone before all this MBTI stuff became popular. Back then I didn’t really know anything about personality types.

Later on, when MBTI started trending, I realized she would probably be considered an ENFP. And looking back, it felt kind of… weirdly accurate in some ways. The dynamic was very natural, but also confusing at times.

So now I’m curious how much of this “perfect match” idea actually holds up in real life.

For ENFPs here — have you had real experiences with INTJs?
What worked well, and what didn’t?
