Is my yucca plant slowly dying?? It’s starting to yellow lots but also has some new ones growing as well. Also should I water it if the soil is slightly damp?? Or wait till it’s bone dry??

Thinking about getting one. Only have about 1,100 sqf. Don’t need it ice cold just comfortable.
