The usual bullshit I’ve put up with for a while, but it’s clear that this company is going downhill and the writing on the wall becomes more profound every day. The one thing that seemed to set Walmart apart was safety, relatively-proper staffing, and somewhat realistic expectations.
Sadly the company can no longer hide that it’s blatantly putting profits over patients—and having a MWHD who’s unable to properly regulate his emotions is just the icing on the cake. If they want the good ones to leave by endlessly increasing expectations while further decreasing operating hours, then it’s evidently working.
I’ll be drafting up my two weeks soon and have a couple interviews lined up. Hopefully those of you RXMs with a conscience and/or a spine are able to speak up for your team. Albeit won’t do much good regardless.
All of my staff have become burnt out. It’s never enough. It’s no longer worth it for us. My staff Rph and RXops lead are polishing up their resumes too. I wish the rest of you the best, but Walmart is a shell of the company it once was.
It’s a shame that it’s come to this. For a long time I really believed Walmart was better than this.
