The fact that it managed to snipe the puffer fish of *all the mons* in this lineup...

Is there any way I could pull this off? I know people are probably gonna say "don't", but I'd like to at least try to make it work

Also this would ideally be for singles, but if there is a doubles team that works, I would also take it.

(Bottom two mons are Heracross and Azumarill)

Trace as a gimmicky Raichu counter?

Sitting in Ultra 2, been playing around with Trace Gardevoir, and have had some pretty solid success against Raichus with it

Since the switch happens before the mega goes off, you can swap it in, trace Lightning Rod into its Zap Cannon/Volt Tackle and get a free +1, and from there you can either pop mega or stay in to force them off

The downside is that this only works once, and as soon as you mega you lose Lightning Rod

Would probably be easier to just bring in a Ground-type, but this is also way funnier and, honestly, it's probably less likely to dissuade them from taking it in

Second solo run completed

First of all, this run was batshit insane. Getting absurdly lucky enough to find the clown event with Magician aside (while somehow dodging getting my good items stolen) and a candy jar to keep me above water in the early waves, throughout this run I encountered all of

-Shaymin (Regular wave)

-Articuno

-Chien-Pao (Regular wave)

-Kartana

-Diancie (Double battle)

The reviver seed I picked up on like wave 5 and I was convinced it was gonna proc to some dumb bullshit, but I somehow managed to navigate every fight without needing it (there was one point against Aaron's Drapion where I thought I'd have to choose between popping Tera or the reviver seed because it would've OHKO'd me with Cross Poison, but I managed to bait his Volcarona into getting me low enough to eat the berries and OHKO it without using either (no thanks to the fat blobs absurd healing).

Eternatus was also dicey since I was only barely able to get within the goldilocks zone where it procs my berries without being either too high HP or dying (which ironically the reviver seed actually wouldn't have saved me because it would've been at +1 special attack with a Sludge Bomb on the way that normally deals ~80% unboosted and Cross Poison in phase 2 would've OHKO'd me from full)

And while I had the reviver seed in the back, I encountered a Perish Song Scream Tail in the final stretch that would've ended at 199 exactly if I didn't have Espeed which I thought was extremely funny

Also it's not shown here, but I picked up a Leftovers too

Definitely feels a *little* unearned with Magician, but I'll take it
