Once activated, a ring shaped area around the mech will be intoxicated with deadly nuclear waste. The spot where it was activated will remain contaminated even without the mech's presence, until the ability ends (aka the fixed hazard zone). The contaminated area surrounding the vessel follows the mech's movements. It is visible to enemies (like a MD's healing field)
If enemy mechs are exposed too long to the radiation, the 'corruption gauge' will increase. When it reaches 100%, the radioactive materials will cause a burst of damage. Graviton beams' mechanism. To asphyxiate enemies more efficiently, the mech inside the corruption zone is slowed down so it will be hard to escape. Speed reduction -50%. For a lucky mech that actually escaped the zone: speed reduction+ D.O.T for 3s (Burst damage excluded)
For the mech itself: Damage reduction -30%
[Special occasions] When a cloaked Eclipse enters the zone, it receives basic damage, but the "burst" damage is ignored. The speed won't decrease either.
An Aegis dome can prevent radiation entering it(unless the Astute itself comes in), but the shield's durability will decrease.
Using the System Crash on the "fixed" hazard zone won't remove it. You have to use it on the enemy Astute itself. Removing debuff for allies are still valid.
