TV KILLED ME (REVIEW)😭😭

Alright idk where to start. So I might have finished the book in 1 day, only stopping to sleep (Marcus and preston plagued even my subconscious lol). I waited for them since BV, I had no major interest in htv and don't have much for CTV. But TV? There was not a day I hadn't thought about Preston marcus, like counting down days till June. Waited for SV just to get crumbs of them.

Anyhow after a year, TV has been released and I ate it up. This was a rollercoaster of emotions, like one minute I was laughing at Preston's monologue and the next I was bawling my eyes out. 😭

Rina wrote Preston the way he is, his pov was written in the prefect way where it was very much obv that he had issues, hyper issues, the demons, the humor, the foreshadowing, daddy and mommy issues. And so was Marcus's. I loved him, he is my fav.✨

The prologue was so cute and so bittersweet, sweet bcz of their innocent promises and candies, bitter bcz one misunderstood and the other thought of it as an illusion? What would hv happened if they became friends at childhood? Preston not remembering was so sad, Marcus thought he did it on purpose when in reality it was bcz Preston was lonely, had many imaginary friends and thought Marcus was one too.🙏🏻

Their banter was so ugh like Marcus all down bad flirting and Preston was taken so off guard. Him stealing his skates, breaking his sticks in MARCUS'S ARENA AND THAT ALCOHOL ALMOST KISS SCN?

And fucking Lenin hated that man like crazy, how dare he beat my baby pres like that 😡 I was so mad but my jaw was on the floor when I learned that Lenin and Dr. Duret didn't exist like Preston talking alone in an empty room?🥀. Loved Miles of Trouble and her asking pres if she could marry Marcus😭😭

The best parent award goes to...Marcus's mom June. Loved how she and pres had this sweet bond where they'll buy things for each other. The runner up will be Lawrence. I didnt hate him even in SV or BV, I knew he loved pres in his own way. Which I was right cuz after pres came back from the dead, Lawrence and pres made me tear up, as in Lawrence peeling apples for pres? Torturing the filthy piece of shit Claude for yrs for his son? Never sending his son to a mental asylum like everyone would? Taking pres and Miley on dinners? Yeah I admit he could hv done better but not everyone is perfect and he took full accountability and apologized. Telling Preston to blame him and not himself (I cried 😭) anyways Lawrence and June for the win

The spice was spicing with Marcus and pres. Marcus was so patient, caring, and not assaulting his partner + loved his dominant side. 👀

Well many of my pre-release predictions I had came out true like they kissing with the candies, Marcus being a mechanic, Marcus not joining the Osborn's and becoming a NHL player, having a good mom etc.

Kane and Jude kinda pissed me off like no offense I get that u r not pres babysitters but lets suppose the car scene in which pres would hv died if not for Marcus, what would they hv done? Ik they had their own shit but they could check up on my BB pres

Plus I knew Marcus was not the one who burned the car instead he saved him🙂‍↕️

Serena was badass and this may hv varied opinions but I didnt hate Andrew like u could def see that he cared for June and Marcus in his own way, protected them even. Lawrence said to pres that what type of father's would they be if they let their sons get hurt by vencor which is so cute. They all had good dad's except poor Kane.

But got spoiled before release, so I knew Cyrus was Marcus's half brother. So I wonder in CTV will Cyrus and Marcus meet?

Preston dying (or suciding ) made me cry, but the worse was THE LETTER LIKE I cried sooo much, his pain, his suffering, his loneliness, no one to tell, no one to ask help from, and all the while he hated himself, hated how he was pretty, hated how he couldn't save himself, blamed himself for his mother's death like aahhh

In conclusion I hv more to say but I think this is the first book of Rina where she really focused on emotions. Unlike her other books, I loved how TV centered around internal struggles instead of external. The plot was Preston's tragic life. The mental health and how it affects and fucks up someone to the core. I personally could relate sm to Preston. But loved this book.

Their lovey dovey moments, Preston spending money on Marcus, their need for each other all of it was so cute.

What a roller coaster.💜

Who says it?

So Rina posted this snippet of dialogue. I actually I'm confused on who says what.

Like if Marcus says the first one, the second is said by Preston which idk makes no sense since he mentioned that he likes to tie his bed partners so they wouldn't touch him (meaning he is fine with touching others).

I think if we reverse it, Preston first and Marcus last it makes more sense. Like Marcus saying he loves touching Preston when he wouldn't let anyone else touch him so yk the chosen one. Idk what r your theories?

I'm so done

As the title says I'm so done with the constant same question repeated 1000x times under every tempting venom related content.

"Can I read this only?"

"Do I need to read the previous two books to understand?"

"Can I read it as standalone?"

"Do I need to read the other books in the series?"

"Can someone tell me a summary?"

Etc.

LIKE ON EVERY DAMN TIKTOK, IG, TWITTER, REDDIT EVERYWHERE.

like it was fine initially cuz duh I get it valid questions but EVERY SINGLE TIME

LIKE DONT PEOPLE READ OTHERS COMMENTS?

Lets say someone asked this question, then another will reply to them with the answer, but on the next post there'll be a thousand more of this question to the point where I'll scroll through comments 30% would be related to TV and the 70% would be the same:

"Do I need to read the other books too?"

Like can't people Google it, read others' comments, read summaries etc.

Even under rina's post, when she explicitly mentions that it's recommended to read the previous books for a better understanding of the world.

Like maybe I'm overreacting but it's been going on since sweet venoms release and idk it's just annoying ATP.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.🙏🏻

Dark Mode Budget Planner Spreadsheet

So I made a budget spreadsheet compatible with both excel & Google sheets. Since it's the era of dark mode (plus my preferred mode too) I decided to make it in dark mode. Took me some time but it's done now. What do you think. It has an automated dashboard with monthly analytics, and individual monthly sheets too. Here's the link:Dark Mode Budget Spreadsheet
