Hello everyone, I got an opportunity to work at this hospital moving from out of state. I’m hearing that the commute to the hospital is pretty crazy and so is parking. I’ve generally have never had to use public transport before so I’m pretty confused lol. Is the parking reservation pretty reliable ? Any neighborhoods/ apartments buildings you all recommend with an easy commute? . I was touring an apartment at John’s landing, commute looked very easy but the area seemed very sterile. I was thing SE for a mix of living and okay commute? Any thoughts. Thank you guys I appreciate the advice!!!

Hello everyone, I am a ADN prepared nurse currently living in Las Vegas with a year of MedSurg tele experience on a stroke unit. It’s not set in stone, but I was considering moving to the Portland area, which was wondering what the job market out there was looking like is it competitive? Are there hospitals there that hire ADNs. Are there any areas around there that I should avoid one apartment shopping. Any companies that I should avoid?. What’s the average starting there? Would I be able to live comfortably ? I would be moving out there on my own. What is rent on a one bedroom they’re looking like?
