Rebound insomnia from caffeine?
Was prescribed 7.5mg for insomnia coming off from cocaine, took it for 15 days and cold turkey about a month ago on sept 8-9.
Wd were minor first day head pressure and anxiety. 2 weeks ago I drank quite a bit of mixed shots and had 2 nights of no sleep. Then a week later I slipped and did a very small amountof cocaine and didn’t sleep for a night.
Thursday I went fishing all day and smoked a little too much cigarettes and before bed I drank a whole bottle of lemon tea didn’t know it was caffeinated and instantly felt the anxiety and have been up since then maybe 2 hours of sleep in the 3 nights.
Having a really hard time any input would be greatly appreciated. Feels like I’m dying from paranoia I don’t know wtf is going on with my body.
I asked ChatGPT and explained my whole timeline these two months and this was the verdict.
“The main reason you are struggling right now isn't that you are permanently lacking mirtazapine; it is that your vulnerable brain keeps getting hit with heavy, unpredictable chemical spikes (like the alcohol rebound, nicotine surges, caffeine, and heavy cannabis use) [The Wave Columbia, White Light Behavioral Health].”
