Is the 28 week obstetric appointment in hospital a full day. At our 22 weeks appointment it was just a scan. Was so fast

And there was No need to meet doctor. Thanks as always

Is the gestational diabetes test done as routine in pregnancy ? I'm in Ardkeen Waterford hospital. No family history of diabetes. I've been booked in for test at 26 weeks. When I've said it to people they seem surprised that hospital is doing the test. Thanks

Any suggestions for pregnancy clothes. I'm looking for over the bump shorts & leggings and nice sports t shirt . I find I am hitting a wall with trying to find clothes..I went to Dunnes and bought larger tops but they just hung off me. Thanks as always

My partner and I am undertaking the lovely task of renovating an old house.. 70 years old. F rating. Property is in good condition, oil central heating , block built walls. We want to totally gut the house, change layout , knock walls to make rooms bigger etc..and completely modernise it to bring it to an A rated standard including new heating system

The house itself is size 1200 sq foot. It's in county Wexford. Also We would like to build extension approx 1000 sq ft as we have 3 kids. We understand we need QS and engineer etc. but before getting into that. Would anyone have rough guide of the price . Understand it would be very difficult to estimate but just a guide please..Thanks as always

We are due baby in summer autumn.. I'm trying to be organised and buy in the baby vests and baby sleep suits for hospital. Whilst it is still early, Dr estimates baby to be 6-7 pounds and legs look long already . What sizes do people buy for hospital ? Everyone says newborn won't fit. Do you buy many sleep suits / vests . Thank you so much as always

Hi everyone, we had our anomaly scan at almost 23 weeks, and the sonographer told us we're having a girl.

I'm absolutely over the moon. I was so convinced it was a boy, so it came as a real surprise.i asked her to check again and she was like Def a little lady.

I'm just wondering how accurate the gender prediction is at this stage. Part of me is worried that we'll go back for another scan and be told they got it wrong.

All we really want is a healthy baby, but we were absolutely thrilled to hear we're having a girl and are still in shock xx 💕👶🎀
