Does anyone have a school of serpea tetras in the area. I got a tank setup second hand and learned the goldfish has a lone tetra as a tank mate. Currently the goldfish bullies the tetra away from food. I don’t want to get him a school because then they will start fin nipping at the goldfish or if I move to my other tank my betta. I’m trying to find a school for him to join

Just got him for free off Nextdoor. This is a TEMPORARY tank I had fully cycled, while I get them a bigger set up. I accumulated them but the ammonia way really high in the water I got them. Do goldfish rest? Is he just tired from the transition and having clear tank rather than a bucket?
They school and take turns swimming under the drift wood in the corner 🥹 you can see the one called Bubbles in the back who rather swim back and forth through the airstone bubbles than be with the others.
All my Corys like playing in the air stone bubbles but there is one that plays in the bubbles for hours.
A week ago I stocked my tank with ten shrimp. Two did not make it through transition and I saw their dead bodies on and they turned pink and were snacked on. It took an entire day for the two bodies to be completely gone, eaten by my bladder snails and other shrimps. I have not found any more bodies. Now I can only find one shrimp. Currently only other occupants are Corys.
Is it more likely that they unaccounted for seven shrimp died and were eaten before I could witness or that they are very good at hiding?
My bladder snails be getting busy while they eat.
I just got them yesterday and I want to make sure they are comfortable. There is black aquarium soil in the planted areas as well.
