I am about to start my first semester of college and my friends want me to get a gaming PC. My friend already has ram for me and I already have the peripherals like keyboard monitor etc so i'll be around 600-700 out of my pocket. Though they are going on religious missions by December and I won't have anyone to play with. Is this investment worth it? Or should I join their Minecraft server on a mac I already own. I know macs are not optimized for gaming but it will be cheaper though unless they want to play other games ill probably have to get the PC. How many other people at college have a PC? is it common? Can I find others who have a PC or should I not even bother playing games in college? will I have even enough time to play in college?

Moroccan sounds like it has a lot of speakers but so does Egyptian I want to speak the most spoken one and useful one. Moroccan sounds cool because it has French and Spanish mixed in but I have heard It’s less intelligible compared to other dialects

I am 17 have been prescribed abilify for the last 8 months. Lately it has made me very tired I think I am on 10 mg or something. I asked my mom how much longer I have to take it and she said probably for the rest of my life. I then asked her why and she said I had concerning thoughts in the past but she refused to elaborate. Can someone explain to me what this drug is for I don’t think I am very mentally ill and I don’t think I should be on it I was originally on Lexipro but went off if it to transition to this drug after a rough time and side effects. Isn’t abilify some sort of mood drug for depression? I don’t know why I am being prescribed it I haven’t experienced depressive symptoms in almost a year. I have explained this to my psychiatrist. I’m really worried my psychiatrist and my parents know somethings wrong about me that is bad like a severe illness because I am on this drug. I’m not looking for a diagnosis I’m curious because no one will tell me what this drug treats and google results are worrying me.

Why do people use traditional Chinese (a more unnecessarily complex writing system) instead of always using simplified Chinese (a simpler easier writing system). There is a readily available easy writing system waiting for the Taiwanese. Was this decision made to lower literacy rates?

I have watched many youtube short videos saying how easy Chinese is because 人 looks just like a person. You can also clearly see 𰻝 looks just like noodles. Characters are basically self explanatory so should I even bother memorizing them?

It has thousands of loanwords from English, Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch, German, and French. There is a lot submission to other languages. Clearly a superior language like Chinese makes up its on words. Honestly I think because of the massive amounts of English loanwords it must be very easy to learn. I will start learning it today on top of my Uzbek and Korean studies.
