AITA for not inviting my cousin's fiancée to my wedding (and now considering not inviting him at all)?
I (mid 20s F) am getting married soon and trying to keep things relatively small due to budget. Because of that, we made a rule that we're not giving everyone plus-ones-only married couples or partners we actually know well.

Here's where the issue comes in. I have a cousin I haven't spoken to in about 3 years. There's no big dramatic fallout, but he and his mum have both said some pretty unkind things about me in the past. He also hasn't reached out to me at all during this time, not even to say congratulations on my engagement ( I also haven’t reached out to him).

He recently got engaged to someone he's been with for a year. I've never met her, mostly because I don't have a relationship with him. He also has a bit of a history of jumping quickly between relationships and talking about proposing to multiple past partners, which (fair or not) makes me feel like this engagement is very new and uncertain. So when sending invites, I invited him but didn't include a plus-one for his fiancée. This is in line with the rule we've applied to others.

After that, my aunt (his mum) questioned me about it, and I explained the budget and the rule. She seemed understanding but hinted that other members of the family (possibly my grandparents) wouldn’t be attending due to this. Now other family members are saying this is "fracturing the family," which feels a bit dramatic to me.
I ended up messaging my cousin directly (even though we haven't spoken in years) to explain my reasoning in a polite way. He ignored me.

At this point, I'm honestly questioning whether I should have invited him at all, given we don't have a relationship and he hasn't made any effort either.
AITA for not inviting his fiancée? And WIBTA if I just didn't invite him anymore?
