I don't know much about alabatres but the one on the left i received today from a small italian store online and the other I got from Prem Avenue.. is it normal for alabatres to look like this? because it looks very different and I know they aren't all gonna look the same but this one is like... way different.. I dont know if this makes a difference but they gently knocked eachother and both had a little damage from it. Lol I dont know why I feel thats useful info But just curious if the left is concerning at all

I... I hate it so bad.. please tell me it gets better on burn. Cold throw smells like a pack of Newport 100s soft pack..

Due to what I believed was a glitch on the site I scored this for 90 dollars. Sadly I'm not in love with this blind buy. This is a weird question but can an upset stomach make you repulsed by a smell? And does anyone know if this one gets better on burn?

Although this Terre Noire candle smells really good it just smells like a sexy man cold throw. I'm not getting the moist disturbed soil I was hoping for. It smells like Johnny Depp.. I just know this is what he smells like. The D.S. & Durga was a nice gift that they sent and my first ever from the house and it smells really nice but NOTHING beats When the Rain Stops by Maison Margiela

Nothing could repair this damned broken heart. It smells sooooo goood. Its much warmer than the newer version. Someone said it reminds them of Benjoin from diptyque and yes but even better.. ​I am reaching out to the retailer but they shipped it so ridiculously I just don't know about even asking for a replacement. This thing was almost 700 dollars and I don't know if its worth the risk trying for the other... I was thinking of asking them to take the candle out of the wooden box and wrap it then ship. I truly just dont know what to do..

These came in today. All of them are BB except Oh Mon Dieu!. First thing First MFK should be ashamed of his candle packaging... its BAD. Secondly, Neiman marcus selling old used candles (the first Oh Mon Dieu! Was.. which is why I got another and the Loewe Mushroom was also. The stickers on side side had been picked off and the wick had black at the tips plus crystallization BAD) put them in jail!

Anyway

Beetroot is amazing, nothing like i thought it would be. It's sweet beets pulled out of soil kind of dry and earthy but in a people pleasing way if that makes sense. I would have liked it more photo realistic

Baccarat rouge 540 is... baccarat rouge 540... burnt sugar amber

Sappho* fig isnt as fruity as I thought it would be, nice velvety dry wood with a slight hint of sweetness and i do mean slight..

Prinsesstarta is sweet also but not typical sweet. Its ridiculously hard to explain the candle but man... is it a good sniff. I think its sweet almond and heliotrope. Its like gourmand but not..

Loewe mushroom is disappointing... it smells like dry old potting soil. I was imagining the smell you smell when digging around in ur moist garden it is not that at all. It is soil but "needs to appease everyone" soil.. i think I'm also disappointed because it is ridiculously small and was gross upon unboxing

The Beetroot candle came from Mr. Porter and I must say... after receiving the package they are the experience NM should be..

Thanks for being the only people in the world I can talk to about this stuff everyone around me thinks my fragrance obsession is really stupid and pointless but... but you guys just get me​​

Man.. Oh man I went through hell for this thing but I loveee it. Its a well rounded sweet and Powdery. This may be a "you either love it or hate it" candle. It's hard to explain the rose note. It's very soft and subtle and don't even get me started on the daggum vessel 😩

Stop what you're doing, hunt this candle down, take out a loan and buy it!
