Sitting here waiting for midnight to jump on the Summer 2026 collection to drop.
I've seen a few sneak peeks but nothing complete- what looks amazing/ what fun limited edition items are not to be overlooked??

Am I the only one that thinks that l'eau papier smells super powdery and floral? I am very disappointed because I was intrigued by the way people have described it, like a papery and inky scent. Maybe it's just the chemistry of my skin that shifts the scent, but it's not what I was expecting

Hi, I am going to be in the south of France soon and want to sample some of the diptyque perfumes not available in my country. Are there any Diptyque shops or stockists in the city if nice in France? I am having trouble confirming this via search online.

I impulsively bought Diptyque Eau Rose EDP after testing it during a stressful week-the rose felt really calming

Now that I’ve worn it a few times, I noticed the opening smells a bit strange to me for the first 10–15 minutes, then it turns into something much more beautiful but i feel its not the same when i tried in store.

For those who own it: does the opening smell a little sharp/weird to you too, or could there be something off with my bottle?

Would anyone be willing to make me a decant of lilyphea for a reasonable price? I fear I have fallen head over heels in love with this scent. I sprayed it on me in stores and it just feels like me. I am definitely not in a place where i could buy this anytime soon but would love to be able to enjoy the fragrance in small doses it’s so so stunning :’) i wasnt able to get a sample without purchase and even the tiny candles and feeling like a stretch for me right now :(

Which one do u think is very good for summer hot weather perfumes line from diptyque ?

So I’ve been glamping with a group of folks this week and brought a couple of my Diptyque samples in tow (fleur de peau and philosykos).

When I first smelled fleur de peau in store I was not as compelled by it as its popularity would indicate, but still a lovely scent. I like philosykos more but decided to save a full bottle purchase for when I run out of others first.

What I’ve noticed on this trip is that any time I used FDP I would get multiple compliments, including from my husband who never comments on this stuff (he’s more of a “you always smell good to me” even when I stink type).

This brought up an interesting exercise for me. I absolutely soak up the dopamine hit of compliments but my instinct is that I shouldn’t be buying fragrances for that purpose at the expense of my enjoyment of it. I certainly buy based on what I like while also enjoying the experiment of it all (seeing what elicits a reaction amongst others)…but I wonder if that’s another pillar of a collection (other people’s enjoyment vs my own? )My initial thought is no, but man do I love when people comment.

Tl;dr - Do I buy Fleur de Peau because other people seem to like it?

(I’m probably both answering my own question here AND giving myself an excuse to justify more shopping but hey I’m interested in other folks’ perspectives!)
