DYI Map Making

DIY map making...
In prop-making, scrapbooking, or mixed-media art, creators lightly scorch or ash both flat outer ends of a tightly rolled scroll or fabric bundle. This instantly gives the entire rolled object a weathered, vintage, or "survived a fire" look.

Thoughts of it actually being a "scroll"...🤔

When your mind starts playing tricks!🤪

Be careful when staring at an icon for too long! They'll turn into whatever your mind wants it to be.

Then a 💡came on!!

After reading Chapter 27 over the 1000th time, one sentence literally tells us what area the AT Box is located! And it's not VT.

Jon Collins-Black knows that modern treasure hunters use GIS software and terrain-matching algorithms to scan the entire 2,200-mile Appalachian trail. By tracing a trail loop from Vermont and printing it in the book (level 1), he completely broke the digital scanners. A computer looking at certain terrains would never see a match. But a human solver—who reads the hint to "not giving my hint" and manually overlays the Vermont blueprint onto the suggested area—creates the exact physical coordinate alignment required to find the box.
