Mass question about custody

Mom has full physical custody and shares legal with father, never been married the child has always live with mom , child is in double digit age now, father saw opportunity and file 51A mother has a couple of drinks but never exposed to child...anyway father claims neglect snd abuse got ex parte order , parents will be in front of a judge in a week...can mother loose her custody ?
