Moving to Denver from Midwest where to live??

hi all!! i trust reddit more than google on places to live lol my husband just got a job that's in downtown denver and would love recommendations on what areas are best to live? we're both in our late 20s with a 10 month old baby and want somewhere quiet, safe, and nice areas to walk with the baby - since this job is downtown i'm not sure how traffic is but is it better to live in denver or an outskirt suburb? we're both home bodies i sew as a hobby and he's a gamer but we want things to do with our baby that are close ish (libraries, museums, events)

we are looking for a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment or even possibly a home to rent - budget would be max $2100 (is this wishful thinking 😭😭)

HELP ON FIRST DRESS

i'm working on the sydney graham skyline dress out of a thrifted bed sheet as a trial run before i use nicer fabric and i think i did the pockets upside down 😭😭 this is also my first time using a serger is it as easy as just unpicking the pockets and flipping them?? im not sure how to pick seams off of finished seams with a serger and really don't want to take this whole thing apart but if im gonna do it i want to do it right so i will if i have to 🥲

Help with colorwork increases

i think i may have messed up this entire baby sweater - i'm doing my very first colorwork and when doing the arm increases i think i might be doing them through the floats instead of the ladders in between the stitches does this look right or do i have to completely start over 🥲
