Who here is actually looking for a trading Discord?

I feel like most trading Discords are either completely dead or just signal rooms.
I’m curious how many people here would actually want a smaller community of traders who are genuinely trying to get profitable and improve together.

If that’s something you’d be interested in, let me know.

Anyone else looking for a trading community that’s actually active?

Been talking with a few ICT traders lately and I’m curious how many people are actually looking for a community where traders are actively sharing setups, discussing mistakes, and trying to become consistently profitable.
Not talking about a server with 5,000 people where nobody knows anybody.
Would anyone here actually be interested in something like that?

19.81 RR Trade to Start Off the Month !?!?

Coming into this red folder news Monday I was looking for manipulation lower after market open from NQ and ES, allowing ES to take out the previous session lows before delivering longs and attacking that HTF LRL (Image 1). After price did the manipulation lower that I was looking for, I was looking for entry longs. The typical ICT set up into first presented FVG was a great set up to take, but my entry strategy recently looks for 10- 25-point protected stop loss' so I avoided that trade. Kudos to everyone that was able to catch it! I was waiting for a retracement into a smaller time frame FVG and had my order set on a 1min FVG. I was able to wait for a 5min to form to set my order limit at the top of that gap. I was tapped and had immediate reaction (Image 2). I was trading my batch of evals so I just needed a small piece of that pie, but Image 3 shows all the levels I had as targets. Overall, great price action to start off the month!

This change in my entry strategy has allowed me to catch RR trades.

I wanted to share two trade set ups that were presented on Friday, July 31st. This small change in my strategy has allowed me to catch some crazy RR trades. I still use the same ICT concepts but my entry and stop loss placement has altered.

These trades were on the 5min time frame. After a big displacement to the downside, I was looking for an entry that gave me a good stop loss (around 20-30 points) . Entering off the reversal at 28,682.25 would have been ideal and I know lots of ICT traders ended up taking it. However, to have a protected stop loss, it would have been 47 points. Although it had some good confluences, its not something that I am looking for during my new trading phase.

Trade 1 had a very good retracement into a 3min, 2min, and 5min gap before it took out the 15min ITL that I was aiming for. Stop loss was 12points and I placed my limit order at the start of the 5min FVG. The trade delivered a 26.1 RR.

Trade 2 was not one I personally took but its a great set up to analyze. After taking out the 15min ITL previously swept by Trade 1, it had great displacement for a reversal. Something that price has been doing is retracing back into Rejection Blocks as a final sweep and then displacing higher. That is exactly what happened here. After the tap into the 15min RB, it displaced higher and you wait for a smaller time frame FVG to form. In this instance, it formed a 5min and a 3min. You could've placed your limit order at the beginning of the 5min FVG and placed stop loss at the end of FVG for a stop loss of 24 points. The target would've been the unmitigated 15min FVG for an RR of 9.13

Let me know your thoughts and how you approached Friday's PA!

One small tweak in my strategy has allowed me to get consistent win rate over the last few months

Traded ICT/SMT concepts for a while without much consistency. What actually turned it around wasn’t a new strategy - it was one small adjustment to how I was executing the same concepts I already knew. Been profitable since making that change.

Funny how often the fix isn’t “find something new,” it’s tightening up something you were already doing. Anyone else have a small change that ended up mattering way more than expected?

One small tweak to my strategy made me profitable the last few months

Been trading ICT/SMT concepts for a while, and the thing that actually got me to consistency wasn't finding a "better" setup, rather it was fixing my execution. I used to blow WAY too much money by having too large of a stop loss or having an unprotected stop loss. A slight tweak in my entry strategy and stop loss placement has made me profitable within the last months.

Curious if anyone else has had that experience - is it usually strategy or execution that's held people back from being successful traders?
