In a reading slump and need something to absolutely shock me out of it.

I like all kinds of fantasy, I am absolutely in love with the stormlight archive, it’s one of my favourites, generally all his work is incredible. Ever since reading it I feel like I can’t find anything quite like it.

I am looking for niche recommendations that aren’t your go to usual recs, particularly I am not interested/have already tried - wheel of time, dune, farseer trilogy, GOT and a few other of the popular recs. I have thought about picking up the name of the wind if it’s worth it? even tho the series is unfinished I believe

These are some of my most loved reads that aren’t all necessarily fantasy - anything Sanderson especially stormlight and mistborn, first law trilogy, count of monte cristo, lies of Locke lamora, the poppy war, six of crows, secret history, red rising and kings of the wyld.

I know I am quite basic and also quite picky unfortunately, i appreciate any of your recommendations, series or standalone are completely fine!

Hiking recommendations

Hi, just looking for a very cool mountainous-like hike with amazing views that is maybe different to the usual region of nuns valley/where all the popular peaks are located. Am looking for something new, I’ve been in a Madeira a total of almost 5 weeks and trying to do something different. I’ve done all the cool pr mountain hikes and loved them but want something that feels different but still has those high altitude views. I would like to do something that is really worth it even if it’s a bit tough, does not have to be pr or an official trail, all recs welcome! :)

Carpool back to the start of PR1 tomorrow Saturday 6th June

Hi! Just wondering if there is anyone tomorrow doing a hike at a similar time as us (13:30 start)and would like to share a taxi at the end back to the start? There’s 2 of us so ideally would be great to share with another 2-3 people!
