Moderation

Does anyone know how long it takes for an appeal to be viewed and if clicking the blocked screen acknowledging the moderation means I lose my right to appeal?

Background - I received a moderation and 10 ELO points for insulting someone in the chat. The lines of text they highlighted in said chat were not insults and dont' seem to align with their own policy. I submitted an appeal via the contact us function but in the mean time i can't seem to bypass the pop up screen on the front page unless I tick I understand to:

"i have read the moderation report, and acknowledge this behaviour will result in stronger penalties if repeated".

We I don't acknowledge the behaviour since it wasn't an insult. So I don't feel i should be forced to tick 'i understand' and wondering whether in doing so it means the appeal I already lodged then gets wiped.

Wardrobe or joiner recommendations

Does anyone have any recommendations for a wardrobe company or joiner in sydney area?

Am considering Ikea Pax for the WIR but not ideal as I would have left over space.

I also need some custom storage built behind the bed.

I sourced a quote from a wardrobe place and I don't doubt their quality would be very good - but the quote was $12k for the WIR which didn't even include all the inserts (ikea pax including accessories and assembly would be circa $2.2k so it's a big difference..

I see a lot of comments across social media saying get a local joiner in and the cost difference isn't as much as you would expect.... so i'm interested in recommendations as one I have is wildly different in price. I asked for quotes from 2 other places and they weren't interested as the WIR on it's own is too small a job.

Ikea pax trimmed

Curious whether anyone has had any success with:

-trimming a 75cm x 58cm wide unit slightly. ie i need it to be 73cm;

-making one side wall of a standard size unit slightly recessed at the top? Kind of like how the corner units have one side panel that is not as deep but without using a corner unit (though not against buying a corner unit just to buy that slightly shallower side if required). It wouldn't need to be shallower the whole way. It would just allow slightly easier access to longer hanging clothes tucked in the corner. I don't want to use an actual corner unit as they seem a little useless as i don't need shelves.
