Saving some fireworks for that one big beautiful day.
We are planning to retire in five years and move from the US to Italy on the elective residency visa. However, Italy does not recognize the tax-free status of a Roth IRA. Does it make sense to continue to contribute to a Roth IRA or should I invest in a tax deferred account like a 401(k) or something else?
