Anyone here recently drive an RV into Mexico for the first time?

My wife and I are planning our first RV trip into Mexico later this year and honestly the paperwork side seems more stressful than the driving itself.

I keep finding different answers about:

● Mexico insurance requirements

● TIP permits

● tourist cards/FMM

● border crossing paperwork

● whether RVs are treated differently

For people who’ve actually done it recently:

● what documents were checked?

● how long did the border process take?

● anything you wish you knew beforehand?

Trying to avoid beginner mistakes before heading south from Texas.

Thinking about buying a retirement home in San Miguel de Allende?

My husband and I visited San Miguel de Allende for the first time last fall and completely fell in love with it. We're both retiring next year and the idea of stretching our savings in a beautiful colonial town is really appealing. I know there's a big expat community there already, but I'm not sure where to start with actually purchasing a home. Is the process very different from buying in the US? Any agents or firms you'd recommend that have experience with American buyers in that area?

Best mattress for lower back pain? Finally investing in my sleep setup

been thinking about replacing my mattress for a while now because my lower back has been bothering me more lately. i had the same one for 4-ish years and i can really feel the difference compared to when it was newer. at first i thought it was just from sitting too much during work but i’m starting to think my mattress is a big part of it too.

i started reading about different mattress types but some people say memory foam helped their back pain while others say hybrid mattresses worked better because they had more support. so which is which really? im mostly a side sleeper, sometimes on my back,. if that matters.

for anyone here who also dealt with lower back pain, what (type of) mattress helped you sleep better?

Serious question… Is there a way to automate social media posts ?

I’m looking for recommendations for automation tools that don't sound cringy. I tried a few popular schedulers but the captions they generated were so fellow kids and robotic that I had to delete them. I need something that can actually handle the posting but maintains a human, professional tone. Does this even exist yet?

I booked myself a nice looking hotel in Dubai. And they called me today and said that the price for my room will increase. And now I want to get a refund and they said it will take weeks before I get my money. And I want to know If I can get my refund asap.

I found out my hotel room was $500 cheaper just two days before my trip

I booked a hotel in Zurich for a week-long stay this summer, and because I wanted to be organized, I locked everything in back in February. I paid about $2,100 for the week, thinking I was getting ahead of the summer rush.

Two days ago, I was double-checking the address on their website and decided to look at the current rates out of curiosity. The exact same room type for my exact dates was now listed for $1,600. I couldn't believe it I was basically paying a $500 penalty.

I called the front desk and then the corporate customer service line, and it was a total brick wall. They kept telling me that since I booked a specific promotional rate, they couldn't adjust the price or refund the difference. I even asked if they could just give me hotel credit for the spa or the restaurant, but they wouldn't budge. It feels like total robbery to see the price drop that much and have no way to get your money back. Does anyone know if there’s an AI or a tool that monitors these hotel price drops and actually handles the refund or re-booking for you? I’m never booking manually again if I can avoid it.

Where do people track grad school decisions during decision season?

I want to have a better sense of when to expect to hear back from programs. I know some people follow along on certain sites or communities where applicants post their results in real time. What are the best resources for this GradCafe, specific subreddits, Google Sheets, Discord? Looking for whatever the community actually uses.

this is what i’m stuck on after posting about my scam i got dms from agents claiming they represent real companies they want me to move to telegram and send documents

i’m seeing Influere Investigations (influereinvestigations.com) mentioned as a real site but i’m worried about impersonators and clones pretending to be them

what’s the safest way to verify you’re talking to the actual company and not a copy and what do you refuse to send until you’re surek

Had a weird billing issue with BigSpy this week and that pushed me to start looking for something else.

Now I’m trying to find a decent BigSpy alternative, but it’s hard to tell what’s actually reliable, especially with so many AI-generated reviews and comparisons out there.

Everything looks good at first glance.

What are you guys using right now?

My dad passed away five years ago. But before that, he remarried a year after my mom died. His new wife came with a son and daughter, and slowly, my lovely dad became someone else.

When she first arrived, I refused to believe my life would turn into Cinderella without the prince. But it did and I became an adult at 12. I left the house at 17 after he died to avoid more mistreatment. But before leaving, I took one of my mom’s jewelry sets from his room because his new wife had already claimed almost everything that belonged to my mom. I needed something... anything that still felt like her. When she realized it was gone, she called endlessly, demanding it back. Of which I ignored.

Every memorial, she shows up with her children, laying flowers like it’s a performance while I wait off to the side for my turn. When they leave, I step forward wearing my mom’s jewelry set. It’s my way of standing there as the three of us again, a quiet reminder that we were once a family. The original three. Sincerely I break down whenever I stand there, but filled with anger instead. I want to scream at him. For changing. For breaking promises. For making me grow up too soon. He used to promise birthday gifts from Alibaba and Amazon weeks in advance. He used to be gentle, what went wrong? And he can't even answer that. I hate to admit that I hate him. I hate him because I miss him the most. "

Hey everyone,

I just launched a new mobile game and I keep seeing people mention that you can buy iOS app reviews to help with visibility and store ranking. It sounds like it could help, but I honestly don't know if it's something that actually makes a difference or if it's just a fast way to get your app flagged and removed. The whole idea makes me nervous because I've put a lot of work into this and I don't want one bad decision to undo everything.

If anyone here has bought iOS app store reviews, I'd really like to know how it went. Did the reviews stick, or did Apple catch on and pull them? Did it actually help your app get discovered, or did it not make any noticeable difference? I'm mostly just trying to figure out whether this is a legitimate way to get some early momentum or if I'm better off not touching it at all.

This shot is a textbook example of how high-quality skin texture can hide a total anatomical collapse. At first glance, the detail in the braids and the dog's fur is incredible, but the hand holding the puppy is a major giveaway. The index finger is unnaturally long and seems to be emerging from the middle of the palm, while the thumb just dissolves into the puppy’s chest without any realistic grip.
