Honestly sick of the mutation system

I've given up for today because of how bad it is, but we need to all address the Pacedegon in the room: Nesting mutation hunting. Sometimes you get what you want quickly, and sometimes you spend literal days trying to get the mutation you want. Today I wanted to get myself a Bewitched Akanthos so it can go with my Bewitched Enthomen, but unfortunately the games system had it against me and decided to do this to me instead. But I know what this is all behind, it isnt luck, it isnt chances, its the fact that the devs have probably lowered the mutation chance so you're more likely to be tempted to buy the mutation boost. I see this pattern during every event, when an event isnt on I usually get the mutation I want within an hour or two, but this took me half my day. I started at 9:00 AM and now I've given up at 2:25 PM, and I was planning on nesting 40 times but its just too tedious so I gave up early. They should either do this thing when the longer you nest the more likely you are to get the mutation if you have a mutation plushie equipped, not a drastic change in chances, but a small chance raise of course, either that or literally speed up egg gestation time because it literally takes around 3 minutes with laying, eggshell, alt with eggshell and fully upgraded better thermal padding, and yes, I did max out mutation alcove too and for my last two egg harvests (When I hatch all 3 eggs at once) I used Octroma, which made the process even LONGER... Or even better, add both in as a QOL feature. But I know they wont, they're just gonna add in more and more creatures to try and fix it. It honestly just infuriates and tires me out.

By the way, NM means No Mutation, and as you can see I got no mutations very frequently.

They should add geese!

I really do love geese, so I'd love if minecraft added them, and no, when I mean geese I'm not talking about the mischievous troublemaker geese you usually see on mods and stuff like that, but instead I'm talking about if they acted similar to real-life geese with some adjustments of course. In my view, they would be tameable and stuff like that, and they would also come in different variant colours too that match real-life breeds such as Embden, Toulouse, Chinese, Sebastopol, Canadian, etc. It wouldnt really be a huge game-changer of course, but I'd appreciate a waterfowl mob atleast

Shush!

Okay, let me just say, I dont necessarily hate dogs, but that does not mean I like them either. If I was forced to be in a room with a dog I wouldnt really see it as a big problem, but anyway, let me get to my point. My neighbours have these two big ol' white pitbulls or bulldog-looking dogs, and even though they're 'Just big softies' according to the owner, sometimes they just will NOT shut up! The owner brings them inside thankfully when they start making a ruckus, but I'm not trying to praise the dog owner. My point is, I've been living in my new house since last October back in 2025. Keep in mind, as of when I said this, I've been living here for 8 months. and ever since then the dogs just go hogwild whenever they even see me, which I find extremely annoying, when I'm trying to get back inside? They bark. When I water my mothers plants? They bark. When I'm having a right ol' splash in the paddling pool? They bark, and it gets on my nerves all the time, I know dogs are known for barking, but you'd think that they'd get used to me already? Of course I'm not going to storm up to their front door and ask them to ask their dogs to be quiet because not only is that not going to work probably, but also I'm friends with their son, and even though I find the dogs' vocal encounters annoying, I dont find it annoying to the point of complaint.

And another thing I wanted to mention is that, for context, I'm getting ducks and geese for my garden sometime in August or September. What I'm trying to say is that basically when they arrive, I'll be fencing off a TON of things in my garden, alongside adding higher fencing to the part of the garden where the dogs are the other side of, even though I dont really think they could jump the current fence because its a bit of a slope, but I'm going to add higher fencing anyway just to be on the safe side. But even then, I just know that the dogs are probably going to give themselves sore throats by literally howling all day and night because of the mere sight of the ducks and geese, in that case, that'll be their own fault for refusing to get used to seeing them. Even with that in mind, I'm not too worried about the dogs barking at the ducks and geese really because I heard that ducks and geese can get used to their barking at some point, I'm only slightly concerned if they tried to jump their fence to reach my birds, and that is why I'm going to deploy higher and stronger fencing of course.

So in short words: My neighbours dogs go into a frenzy of barking whenever they see me, which is starting to get really annoying.

Don't worry guys, Freddy the tortoise isnt coming after me or anything. He's simply just a chill little fella. I've also noticed he likes to stare at my face a lot because whenever I'm in his line of sight he usually stops what he's doing (For example: Eating his food) and sort of just stares at me for a minute or two before he continues on what he was doing (:

On my way back home last week I found myself some snails on the pavement, its either that I took them with me, or they would have likely gotten squished. And don't worry, I let them free in my garden so none of them got harmed. There's also nothing I can do for them now of course since this happened last week, and to this day the snails are nowhere to be seen in my garden, so they've probably ran away. Snails are so cool
