34 days ago I put cat bones in a bucket of water and realized that too much time can ruin them, but I don't know how long it's been considered dangerous.

Dog or Canis aureus skull?

I found this on a mountain in Greece (the mountain is about 300 meters high). I always thought it was a dog, but now I've seen a picture of a Canis aureus skull and I'm not really sure if it's this one or not. Does anyone know what this skull is?

A few days ago I found a dead bird on the floor and decided to assemble its skeleton. I heard that a good option is to close its body in a jar and wait for some time for the worms to eat its flesh and only the bones remain. Is this a good and correct method or is there a better method?
