Car storage for broken down car??

Anyone aware of any car storage space or parking space that I can leave my broken down car at? I’ve already spent a lot recovering it from garages back to my home. I’m in a dispute with my dealership so not sure how long I will need to have it stored away. I just want to get a new car and my apartment only allows one car per house.

Anyone aware of any space around city center?

TIA 🙏🏻

What services are IMPORTANT in insignia

I recently bought a Vauxhall insignia (2018) and can’t find the right service history. Recently broke down and diagnostics show transmission failure at just 56k miles!

Are services on gearboxes essential that could have been missed by previous owners? And why would it fail so early? I’ve been using it as a family car, bought it 3 months ago and done roughly 2k miles since owning it

I just can’t seem to find the right service manual for this 2018 car.

Any advice would be great 🙏🏻

Am I right to ask dealer to repair vehicle if transmission fails

I bought a Vauxhall insignia on 56k miles and within the first three months it had a complete breakdown. So I’ve taken the car for diagnostic and states ‘Internal Transmission Failure with suspected Torque Converter collapse which has contaminated the transmission’

The dealer provided me with warranty of only a £2000 limit but the repairs would cost somewhere between £4000-£7000. Dealer is refusing to provide any refund and says they have nothing to do with the car and the liability falls on third party warranty they provided.

I have sent a letter stating my rights under the consumer right act 2015 that if a fault is found within the first 6 months it’s the dealers responsibility to repair or replace unless they can prove that the fault wasn’t present at the time of the sale.

So the dealer now wants the car for his ‘own’ diagnostics and states that if the fault appears to be wear and tear the repair cost would fall back on me.

How would they prove this and how can I trust their report? This dealer has been very difficult to deal with and absolutely find it difficult to trust them as they have been very threatening and spoken inappropriately on calls.

Is it normal for this kind of issue to occur with just over 2 months of use and at 56k miles ? I’ve just driven it roughly 3k miles since I took ownership of the car. The garage I took it to says it looks mechanical but they need to ‘strip and report’ to exactly ascertain that the fault is

I bought a car from a dealership in February. Although I say it’s a dealership upon going to see the car it was a single person showing me the car but I managed to find the company name on companies house (so it is a registered business)

I was happy with the car, made the purchase and drove it home and 2 days later a warning message started regarding Tyre pressure sensors flashed on the display. Upon contacting the guy he said ‘don’t worry you probably need to replace the sensors, it may cost £20 a sensor, send me the receipts..whatever it costs I will cover it’.

I got really busy that week but two weeks later I got a full diagnostic done of the car and they confirmed that two of the sensors needed replacing. I got a bunch of quotes and the cheapest I could find was £80 a sensor (£160 in total).

I informed him and he started fussing that it can be done for cheaper etc etc. I explained that I have called a bunch of local garages and this was the cheapest I could find. He then said he will pay £100??! I said this was not a private sale, I bought from the dealer for the security of warranty and since this issue began 2 days after the purchase it sure is a repair he has to cover?

I told him that I will escalate with the ombudsman and he is saying that I am ‘threatening’ him and that he is liquidating his business, so I need to accept his £100. Basically saying it’s £100 or nothing. I know thats a load of bull. What should I do? I am so mad I really want to report this guy - I know he is frustrated that I will take it up with the ombudsman but if I accept the £100 what are my chances with the ombudsman?

Can someone please help!!! This guy won’t answer the calls either. Is this a scam like wtf
