hi. i am so happy i found this subreddit. i am 18 and have never needed/wanted to use a vending machine before. i am now in a situation in which i would really like to know how to use a vending machine. how do i do that? how do i do that without making a fool of myself?

i can provide a picture of the vending machine if necessary. not time sensitive, i'll be fine if i don't get a snack right this instant lol, but i am hungry :( thank you in advance

yeah that's all. i have sensory processing issues that make stuff like raves and concerts difficult, so i usually do everything i can to avoid stuff like this, but my friends found a really small event that was happening and we went together and i used all of my coping strategies and my friends were very patient and helpful and it was SO AWESOME!! i've always wanted to be able to do stuff like this but i've always been to scared, or i went for a few minutes and got to overwhelmed and had to leave, but now i feel like i might actually be able to go see live music!! i'm so so happy i went. i'm so happy!! i did it!! i did the thing!!

i'm moving to kalamazoo for college soon and i ride my bike everywhere. do you guys think i could get away with riding my bike in town in the winter, or is the snow just too bad?
