My friend told me about this place and the history was insane. It's even older than ankor watt and awaiting world heritage status. Has anyone been there? Is it worth the trip?

I wanted to share a ‘Shitty’ experience from a recent China Southern Airlines flight and get some advice from the community.
During the flight CZ 307 from Guangzhou to Amsterdam in April, the toilet system malfunctioned and urine/sewage started leaking from under the lavatory (it seemed to come from underneath piping rather than the lavatory floor) into the cabin floor carpet. It reached my seat directly behind the lavatory, soaking my socks and awaking me from my sleep. I touched the soaked carpet thinking it was spilled water and the overwhelming sewage smell told me otherwise. The staff covered it up with blankets after 6 hours of no action and offered me a business class toiletries bag.
I’ve attached a video showing the result of the leak at my feet. It was unhygienic and very uncomfortable, especially on a long flight.
I’ve already reached out to China Southern with this video, a detailed timeline, and a formal complaint. They only offered 3,000 mileage points (~$20) and then closed the case. That feels inadequate given the circumstances.
Am I overreacting ?
Has anyone dealt with similar maintenance or hygiene issues on China Southern (or other carriers)?
Any effective ways to escalate this further?
