Okay so if yall ready my previous post this is what doctor said

I told him I’m getting outbreaks more while being on suppressive then when I wasn’t taking nothing but lysine

Doctor: What type of outbreaks are you having? Where at? And do you have any pictures? That is pretty uncommon to have so many outbreaks on suppressive therapy.

Me: It starts this way in my lower back and then it progress to blisters

Doctor: When ever you start to teel the tingling before the blisters erupt, start taking two of the tablets every 12 hours for 1 day and then drop back down to 1 tablet daily.

Me: This in the picture is how it's starts a dry itchy patch to a bump to blisters

But ever since being on valacyclovir I only get a patch and itchy the blisters don't come out anymore
And as before without valacyclovir for it to heal it would take 7-10 days
It would start as a pinch/tingle sensation on that are to then a dry itchy patch to then blisters forming to the blisters being fluid filled to then them drying out on its own and creating a scab

And now I just get a itchy patch that when I double in dose for 3 days it disappears within 3 days

So when I got into Reddit I kind of posted my story on there and someone told me that some people valacyclovir 500 does work only as far as not allowing blisters to form

And for some people when they take 1g they just don't get any symptoms

But I know valacyclovir has really been helping and making a difference

Doctor: Okay. I got you. You can start taking two tablets per day in the morning or spread the dose over the day, taking one tablet twice per day. Just be aware, when taking this medication at this dose for long term
it can cause issues with fighting off certain illnesses.

Me: Ah no I don't want to risk it then I will just stay as you stated before I will only double up when I have a active outbreak

Doctor: I would just say that if you didn't have to go to the 1g daily long term, I wouldn't.

I get outbreaks every 3 months or 6 been diagnosed for 4 years
So about 3 weeks ago I had the worst outbreak ever
The most painful i decided to let it heal to then talking to my doctor on getting on suppressive teraphy by then the sores had allready dried out . And healed
Anyways I started suppressive this Monday 500 vala and yesterday I forgot to take the pill and today I woke up with a outbreak I’ve never had them back to back like that do you think it’s the antiviral making it worse?

I think you need to remain positive .

One day there will be a cure as of right now take care of your body go hiking go walking go running sit down talk with godd write your goals I lost my auntie to cancer a few months ago it was an eye opener for me I didn’t get to say good bye but I witnessed in how much pain she was emotionally and physically cancer is a disease that takes a lot of people out and I want you to know some of her words was believe and live all you have hsv it’s not a deadly disease so many people have it learn your body live enjoy life for all we know we don’t know what our last day will be how and from what look at this as something to treat life more gentle and take care of yourself more

It’s like at this point I just want to sit and cry

My husband constantly criticizes what I wear always has something to say

If I do my makeup that’s for kids
If I dye my hair that’s for kids
It’s okay it got under your skin
Mind you I only wear concealer mascara
That shirt is too little
You should give that dress back
Is that what you are wearing
Or he will look at me when I’m getting ready and look at me up and down and laugh

He also says is a joke
Like at this point am I a joke to me no one has ever made me as insecure as him

Criticizes me so much that now that I think of he didn’t even compliment me

I feel like as hard as I try to look good he always brings me down makes me feel insecure

I tried talking to him about it before and his response was you can’t take criticism
