First time buying from Japan

Hi guys,
It's my first time shipping from Japan and I want to buy these pair of contacts from Pushcolor.com for around 6075 yen (£27). Is it common for people to be charged VAT/courier handling fees on an order this low and if they do how much am I looking at altogether? I'm kinda conscious since I don't wanna pay anything too crazy on top of what I'm already paying. I honestly don't know whos hands it'll be in after arriving to the UK but last time I received a gift from America and it got into Parcelforce's hands.

Hey guys,

Maybe I'm getting too paranoid lately because of a recent health scare, but I'm quite scared of developing Bird Fancier's lungs. I had mild asthma in the past (not triggered by smells/dust but rather triggered by excessive running) and I'm just wondering if i'm still at high risk to develop bird fanciers lungs and if there's anything further I can do to prevent it (ideally not taking them out my bedroom since I live in quite a small house)

- I have an air purifier on 24/7 in my bedroom

-I wear a mask when cleaning their cage (I clean once a day everyday at night)

-I don't have a carpet in my room, my rooms pretty small so they are like two steps away from my bed

-I don't sleep in the same room as them at night, they sleep downstairs in a smaller cage every night and in the morning they're released into their big cage and playground in my room

-My windows are always open so the room is well ventilated

They are two small budgies and I've had them for around a year, I love them so much I don't think I'd be able to give them away even if i found out i was developing bird lungs. Moving them to another room may be possible in the future but I'd like to know if these are good precautions or if there's anything else I can do since I get really bad health paranoia. Thank you!

▲ 9 r/Switch

Hey guys,

I'm getting an Oled to play the new tomodachi life, but I'd love to get some more game recommendations. This is gonna be my first time owning a switch, but the thing is I'm not really interested in typical nintendo games like Mario Kart or Super smash bros, which may be dumb considering I'm getting a switch but I don't really have the money to afford any other consoles. Apart from TL I'm also not interested in 'cozy games', something more like Zelda or RDR is up my alley. So does anyone have any similar recommendations for shooter, action or interesting story games u can get on switch? I'm looking for stuff similar to elden ring, rdr, bloodborne, etc. Thank you!
