What I asked for vs what I got

My brother is a huge AC milan fan, so I ordered this customized cake for his birthday. It was a huge hit! 😊

post-RFE approval timelines

For those of you who have gotten an RFE and responded back, how soon after did you hear back or got an approval?

My i485J got approved (RD 4/24) but my i485 got an RFE on June 29th that I am yet to receive in the mail.

Just curious, does this set me back by a couple of months? Has there been cases where people get a decision soon after they respond to an RFE?

I know it’s a case by case scenario, but I’m just curious

Field office changes - is this normal?

PD May 2024
RD April 24 2026 (GC, I485J, EAD, AP)
Biometrics May 26,2026

Every time I chat with a live agent, my cases appear to be processing somewhere new?

I-485 went from processing in NBC to Boston FO (local) and now is in Chicago (nonlocal)

Live agent said my EAD and AP are currently in Texas (went from NBC to Nebraska now to Texas)

My i-485j is now in Washington FO while my I485 is in Chicago. Is this normal? Is anyone going through a similar situation?

First 5k ever!

Today was the first time in my (29F) life ever to run a 5k. I used the beginner plan by Runna and started the first week of April. I’m really proud of myself :)
