Which tyre to get ????

I’m considering the Vredestein Centauro ST as my next rear tyre. My GT 650 came with Vredesteins from the factory, and overall I’ve been pretty happy with them. They gave me enough confidence, especially in the rain, and I’ve never really had any complaints about their grip or comfort.
A friend of a friend owns an Apollo tyre shop and said he could arrange a Vredestein for around ₹6,000–₹7,000, which seems like a good deal.
I’m still relatively new to owning bikes, so I’ve been trying to research tyre options for the GT 650. The problem is that whenever I look up recommendations, everyone seems to suggest a different brand, which has left me even more confused.
My riding is mostly city commuting with occasional highway touring. I usually cruise at around 100 km/h. I do enjoy cornering occasionally, but I’m not an aggressive rider.
My priorities are:
Excellent road grip and confidence-inspiring performance
Good wet-weather performance
Comfort similar to or better than the stock Vredesteins
Decent tyre life (around 7,000–10,000 km is perfectly fine)
Would you recommend sticking with the Vredestein Centauro ST, or are there better options in a similar price range for my use case?

I was considering Michelin road 6

service center kept saying nothing was wrong. Was I right all along?

I own a 2025 Continental GT 650 and I’m honestly furious right now.

Since the first few months of ownership, I felt something was off with the rear wheel alignment. The bike never felt completely right, and I repeatedly brought it up during service visits. During my service in the first week of May, I specifically told the service center that the rear wheel alignment seemed wrong.

Their response every single time was basically:
“It’s a new bike.”
“You’re a new rider.”
“You’re overthinking it.”
“Nothing is wrong.”

So I trusted them. ( i went to 2 RE service centres )
Fast forward around 8 months and my rear tire now looks like this:

The entire right side of the tire is worn almost completely smooth.
The left side still has plenty of tread left and could probably do several thousand more kilometers.
Wear is massively uneven across the tire.
The bike has been ridden normally, no burnouts, no track days, nothing crazy.
What annoys me the most is that I kept reporting the issue and was repeatedly brushed off instead of them actually checking the alignment properly.

Now I’m wondering:
Does this wear pattern look like a wheel alignment issue to you?
Has anyone had a similar experience with Royal Enfield service centers dismissing concerns?
Is there any chance of getting compensation for the prematurely destroyed tire if an independent workshop confirms an alignment problem?

What else should I inspect besides wheel alignment (swingarm, suspension, wheel bearings, bent rim, etc.)?

I’m taking the bike to another workshop for a proper inspection and written report, but I’d love to hear what you guys think.

GT 650 - Power loss + Check Engine Light after riding in rain

I was riding back home from a trip today when it started raining. It wasn’t torrential rain, but it definitely wasn’t a light drizzle either.
A while into the ride, I noticed the bike was losing power intermittently and the check engine light came on. At times the check engine light was blinking as well.
The symptoms are a bit strange:
Power loss is inconsistent.
It doesn’t feel like full limp mode because the bike still has power and can accelerate normally at times.
Sometimes, even if I keep the throttle in exactly the same position, the bike will suddenly decelerate and then accelerate again on its own.
Throttle response feels erratic and unpredictable.
No unusual mechanical noises that I noticed.
I managed to get back home safely, but the behavior was concerning.
My first thought was that maybe some water got into an exposed sensor, connector, ignition component, or electrical connection due to the rain. The bike is a 2025 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650.
Has anyone experienced something similar after riding in rain? Could this be something like:
Water in a sensor/connector?
Throttle position sensor issue?
Coil/plug misfire?
Side stand switch or other electrical fault?
Something else entirely?
Any suggestions on what I should check first before taking it to the service center?
