Large electric motors

Any advice for processing large 20 plus hp motors. I’ve never done larger than 5. Pics to come but they are buried in my trailer atm

Not a bad night

4 hours. 25 miles. Decided was enough for one night.most of what’s in truck bed is clean and dirty aluminum plus about 5 pounds copper and some other goodies. I’m guessing 3000lbs shred in back.

Pick up the new 3/4 ton tomorrow and saying goodbye to my truck. I’ll miss her. In five years I only replaced a starter motor and she never gave me any problems. I actually might cry when she goes. Thinking of all the jobs we did together. The people we pulled from the mud. The coworkers that I took home during a blizzard. The kids playing in the back. But it’s time for bigger and better. Having a back seat will help a lot with kiddos and keeping more organized.

Keep scrapping

Would you keep the plow or sell it?

I’ve been diving and scraping and picking for about 15 years. The past two years I have gone in hard and is my main source of income. I do about $4000 minus expenses.

I’ve noticed that my attitude towards “things” has changed. I’m not that into “stuff” anymore and am willing to give friends family just about anything I have (even when I know I could sell for decent money). I think it’s knowing that with enough searching I will find a replacement or most likely something better. I also believe when we verbalize what we are looking for the universe provides that thing with a little effort.

Just my little rant. Thanks.
