Some of you gave me feedback on this back when it was rough around the edges. A few things you flagged then are fixed: the stat abbreviations are explained in the interface, rider ratings had a full pass, and the parcours bug on one-day races is gone.

Since then the game has grown a lot. Directeur Sportif is a free browser based cycling manager, no account, no ads, no install. On a phone you can save it as an app and it works offline.

Hallo zusammen, ich bin Niels aus den Niederlanden und baue in meiner Freizeit Directeur Sportif: ein Radsport-Manager-Spiel, das direkt im Browser läuft. Kein Konto, keine Werbung, keine Installation. Auf dem Handy lässt es sich als App speichern und funktioniert dann auch offline.

Was drin steckt:

• 34 echte Teams, von den WorldTour-Größen bis zu den kleinsten ProTeams, oder du stellst dein eigenes Team zusammen
• 917 echte Fahrer mit individuellen Werten, Formkurven, Karrieren und Verträgen
• Saisonplanung: Rennkalender, Formhöhepunkte, Trainingsschwerpunkte, Transfers
• Rollen und Taktik für jede Etappe, danach läuft das Rennen ab
• Sponsoren, Preisgelder und ein laufendes Teamkonto
• U23-Talente scouten und ein eigenes Nachwuchsteam aufbauen

Ehrlichkeitshalber: das Spiel selbst gibt es bisher nur auf Niederländisch und Englisch, eine deutsche Fassung habe ich noch nicht. Die Fahrerdaten sind natürlich international, deutsche Fahrer sind also alle dabei.

Description: Directeur Sportif is a cycling management game you play straight in your browser, on your phone or on a laptop. You take charge of one of 34 professional teams and guide them through a full season of real races. You decide which riders ride which races, set their training focus and plan the moments they should peak, then race day by day. Before every stage you assign roles, choosing a leader, a sprinter and domestiques to work for them, and pick a tactic: go for the win, attack, chase down the breakaway, hunt sprint or mountain points, or sit in the gruppetto to save energy. Several races use their real profiles, including the gravel sectors of Strade Bianche and the climbs of Milan-San Remo. There are two divisions, WorldTour and ProTeams, with promotion and relegation each season, so you can start with a small team, earn wildcards for the big races and fight your way up. Everything is saved locally on your device and it works offline once loaded.

Involvement: Solo developer. I built the whole thing myself: the simulation, the interface and the race data. It's a hobby project I work on in the evenings, and I'm looking for feedback on whether the racing feels realistic and whether the first five minutes are clear enough for a new player.
