What is this yellowy gunk and how do I get rid of it?

Leathered quartzite. Not yet cut or installed, went to see my slab today and under the inside lights I noticed this yellow stuff, I hadn’t noticed it under the natural light outside where the slab was when I chose it initially.

Update: the yellow is only in the deeper crevices and it definitely doesn’t look like part of the stone. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like I can add more photos for reference.

Has anyone used Semihandmade in Agave or Beach Impression for their Sektion kitchen?

The internet is woefully lacking photos/videos of actual customers and real installations. I found one video of agave but it looks so much darker than what is on Semihandmade’s website. I don’t want to wait a week for a sample the size of an index card if there are actual realistic photos out there somewhere! Thanks!

Where can I casually peruse local art for sale?

Furnishing and decorating a new house soon and would much rather have one of a kind pieces from local artists (think: cute quirky paintings, not a $4,000 abstract gallery piece).

I’m looking for shops and cafes that display local art for purchase, for example like The Original Egg on Clark. Photo for reference.

What other cafe type establishments can I find local art? Yes I know there’s a bunch on Facebook marketplace but I like to browse jn person.

Looking for dog groomer in very small private or home salon

I have a grooming-anxious dog who doesn’t shed. He doesn’t do well with all the barking at commercial grooming salons (even the smaller businesses) and when I pick him up he always seems traumatized. I’m looking for a groomer who takes one or maybe two dogs at a time who can spend the time making my pup feel a little more comfortable and isn’t rushed to complete a daily corporate quota.
