I'll be moving house soon and the bedroom in the new house is fairly small. We've got a lot of clothes so we need a lot of cupboard space.

Does anyone have any examples of things they've done to maximise storage in a small bedroom? Can be things from arrangement of the room to cupboard designs, I'd love to see them all please!

I've received an incredibly low ball offer from a company. They even put me through interviews for a different role and low balled me again. This company is quite popular however, and it seems that it's a common practice for them to do.

The recruitment process has been awful. They've given me contradicting feedback, and the reason for the low ball changes dramatically each time it's raised. I performed significantly better in the interviews for the second role, but they still gave me the same score, and the reasons are outright lies.

It's likely dumb of me, but I still want this job as it would do wonders for my CV. I don't think there's any point in arguing the rating, it'll just ruin the opportunity for me. But I've got a call with the directors of each team in a couple of weeks.

What questions can I ask to find out if these directors will treat me as awfully as their recruitment team have?

At the moment, I think I can accept the lower grading, even if there's no promotion opportunities, cause in a year and a half the name alone will put my CV in a way better position than it is now. So really I'm looking to find out if they'll be nice to me, if they're likely to give the performance bonuses, and if they're interested in my career progression at all.

Hello! Sorry in advance for the slightly dull question..

I'm a software dev and I've worked in the same company for the majority of my career so far. They don't let us use AI to code at all.

I'll be starting a new job soon at a company that does, however I've got literally no clue about anything. Speaking to one of their Devs, they say that you're not forced to use AI, there's no dictation on what AI you use, and code reviews by people are still mandatory. He did say though realistically if you don't use AI you're not going to have the same amount of output as someone who does.

I struggle for time to do personal projects so I've not had much chance to dabble outside of work. At most I've debated approaches to problems in the chat functions but I know enough to know that's not even close to scratching the surface of what coding with AI really is.

I'd be really grateful for some advice / answers to the following questions:

- What are people's experiences of using AI in work for coding? Is it a stick to beat you with? Are you just writing endless comments on dog shit PRs? Do your companies seem to care much about the quality of code?

- Does anyone have any good workflows, processes or rules they live by to make best use of coding with AI?

- How do I prevent myself from becoming pure slop while still keeping up with others?

- What are the best things I should start learning in order to make sure that when I turn up on my first day I can get cracking on setting up an AI process that's genuinely going to benefit me?
